Why I want to serve in Edo Assembly -Iyamu

House of Assembly candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Orhionmwon South Constituency in the forth coming general elections, Comrade Bright Iyamu, has vowed to restore the lost glory of Orhionmwon local government area of Edo State and to also delivered the dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected.

 

 

 

 

 

The House of Assembly hopeful made the vowed yesterday in Benin City when he hosted some selected journalists to what he tagged Media pally with Edo journalists.

 

 

 

 

Comrade Iyamu therefore explained that, he is going into the State House of Assembly to enhance the living standard of Orhionmwon people, and bring the needed development and progress to his locality.

He called on the youths to brace up and ensure that young people are being elected into various political offices and positions in the coming elections.

“I need your support because i believe we have so many issues to tackle, we have educational issues to tackle, we have security issues to tackle, there are so many other issues and several people who need empowerment.

“As youths, we are supposed to be focused, we are the future generation, this is our time to take over.  We came into politics to find a way to reach our people because we know what they are lacking, they don’t need to tell us because we are sincere. It has got to the stage that we have to take over the stage.

“we don’t need to wait any longer there is nothing wrong if the next governor of the state is a youth, if the next president is a youth so what I am trying to tell you is that we as youths are determined to ensure that we decide who will represent us in the next election.”
