Wife demands justice from husband for lying about his genotype status

The wife demands justice from the husband for lying about his genotype status, Bigamy, Forged Marriage Certificate, Impersonation and Forgery.

SaharaWeeklyNG Reports That A mother of two, Mrs Helen lluobe is demanding justice from her husband who deceived her with his genotype status before marriage which resulted in having three sickle cells disorder children of which her first child died mysteriously.

Iluobe who narrated her ordeal told our correspondent that the husband, Mr Kelly Iluobe lied about his genotype for his selfish interest.

“It all started when a family friend came with Kelly to my birthday party and he Kelly introduced me.

He came demanding my contact number which I refused, after two weeks he came back to our house and met my father and introduced himself.

“He told my father that he was at my birthday party and that he liked me so we courted for two years.

Mrs Iluobe said that when they were dating she asked the husband about his genotype status because her family genotype is AS but he told her he was AA.

“During that period of our courtship, he claimed to be a businessman who stayed abroad, so he was on and off the country we eventually we got married.

“Unfortunately, my first child died mysteriously, the second was at the same time hospitalized before I asked the hospital to conduct genotype text for the children.

“The result showed that both of them have sickle cell disorder.

She said that all this while the husband was off and on, so when the child died he sent his elder brother Moses Adams Iluobe to her parents demanding to know what happened to the child and also consulted the elders in the village before he will be buried.

” After the genotype result was out I did not see my husband again, he only sent his elder brother who came with flimsy excuses.

“Any time the children are in crisis and I call his family members there will be no good response until September 2020 when my husband remarried without asking for me and his children.

Sahara weekly gathered that Advocates for  Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN received a complaint from one Mrs Iluobe on how her husband absconded for four years and instituted a petition asking the Inspector General of police for his intervention.

” However, Mr Kelly Iluobe who was invited on several occasions never reported to the station until his elder brother and his surety were arrested.

Mr Iluobe claimed he travelled to Ethiopia at the request of his elder brother for a business deal.

Although he told his wife before that he was in Brazil.

After his brother was arrested he now put a call to him and he promised to report back immediately he returned to Nigeria.

Surprisedly, Mr Illuobe returned and took a petition to the Administration Unit of FCID, Alagbon where he accused his wife of theft and using the police to harass him.

Our correspondent also learnt that the first meeting for both parties was fixed for the 17th and 18th of June 2021 at FCID admin where drama ensued.

“The IPO Tayo Alagono tried to play smart by trying to make the Mrs Iiluobe a suspect but the advocates stood their ground that such should not happen.

They said that Mr Kelly Iluobe was invited by the gender Anti-human Trafficking unit SCID Panti but he never honoured the invitation until when his elder brother and friend who stood as surety were arrested and released on bail.

She said that Mr Kelly Iluobe told various lies against her and her family before the ACP Rasheed Lawal in charge of the Admin Unit in FCID.

ACP then instructed the IPO to send the case file to the Force CID Legal Unit immediately for action.

“We were asked to go and come back for another meeting on 25th of June 2021 to decide when the case would be charged to court.

” But we were surprised at the submission of the ACP LAWAL RASHEED, he started preaching about the interest of my children to be protected leaving out the criminal aspect of the case.

“I could not believe the scenario, it looked suspicious right from the onset, was that why my husband ran down to the Force Criminal Investigative Department Admin unit? I presume this case supposed to be handled by the Gender Anti-human Trafficking unit FCID?.

Meanwhile, Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN have expressed dissatisfaction over the role of the police officers attached to the Unit of Force Criminal Investigation Department FCID Alagbon Lagos in trying to truncate a case of fake identity.

The coordinator, Mr Ebenezer Omejalile of ACVPN, condemned the way the case is being handled.

” It shouldn’t be like this, I am using this medium to call on the authority to look into the matter for justice to prevail.

Omejalile noted that during the discussion with Mr Kelly Iluobe, he claimed that he always put a call to his wife to enquire about the children and also sent money for their welfare since he wasn’t always around, but his wife debunked his claims.

However, Immediately his wife challenged him to prove his claims, he could not utter a single word to all the allegations presented before him.

“Also he claimed that he never discussed genotype with his wife and that they only dated for 3months and she got pregnant for him that produced three children.

“Surprisingly, Mr Kelly’s elder brother admitted that both had courtship for two years before marriage both through the introduction and Native Law and Custom.

“We want this case to be handed over to the unit of Gender Anti-human Trafficking FCID so we will not be having a lopsided decision in this case.

“We also gathered that the ACP Admin is pushing for settlement which his wife and mother in law turned down.

“Mr Kelly also lied, he told his families and friends over the years that he rented and stocked up his wife and mother in law stores with materials and items.

Omejalile said that Helen Iluobe and her family want justice and their decision should be respected by the Admin Force CID.

Meanwhile, Kelly in his petition didn’t mention anything regarding the two daughters welfare but kept emphasizing that the princess stole his properties.
