Some weeks ago, popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele made a prophecy concerning Nigeria’s togetherness, making it known that he doesn’t see Nigeria as one in the next 19 years. He stated that Nigeria will breakup before 2040.
This prophecy garnered several reactions including the presidency. Femi adesina, the president’s aide on media and publicity attack Primate Ayodele for making such statement and described him as a false prophet. Although, he was immediately backlashed and described as a someone after his pocket for describing Primate Ayodele’s prophecy on nigeria’s break up as false.
Just weeks after this prophecy, a renowned prophecy in Nigeria, Wole Soyinka has said the same thing about Nigeria. In an interview he granted recently, Wole Soyinka made it known that Nigeria can never remain as one except there is decentralization and restructuring.
He made this statement due to the fact that so many things have gone wrong with the federal government, they seem confused about how to lead the country right.
With Wole Soyinka’s statement, it seems Primate Ayodele’s prophecy is becoming fulfilled. There have also been agitations against the togetherness of Nigeria as a country. We have Yoruba nation agitators and Biafra republic though Primate Ayodele has said their leaders will not be the ones to actualize the division of Nigeria but their agitations is fulfilling Primate Ayodele’s prophecy already
