Worker’s Day – Staff Welfare is my Priority By Ifeoma Ikem.

The Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina, says the welfare of his staff and a conducive working environment have always be the priority of his administration.

Adesina gave the assurance in a message to the entire workforce in the council on the occasion of 2022 Workers’ Day.

The chairman said, “My administration’s paths to success in the last five years would not be possible without the cooperation, cordial and healthy relationship between the executive, Legislative arms and the entire workforce.

“I seize this opportunity to reiterate that the welfare of our staff and a conducive working environment have and will always be the priority of this administration.

“The last two years have been challenging for everyone across the globe as a result of COVID-19.

“Yet, I commend your tenacity, devotion, creativity and productivity especially the frontline workers who defied all odds and remain undaunted all through,” he said.

Adesina said that as workers all over the world celebrate the day, he celebrated everyone doing their best in their chosen field of endeavours no matter their positions, statuses or significance.

According to him, you are doing your best in making this local government, Lagos State, Nigeria and the world a better place.
