Sadly, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, Kogi state<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0 Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, is dead.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He was\u00a0confirmed dead around 4.30 am at a hospital in Lokoja,\u00a0the state capital.<\/p>\n

Muhammed was rushed to the hospital after he slumped at his residence.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

He was said to have been active at a series of political meetings in preparation for Saturday\u2019s governorship election.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A family source said he was rushed to Shifa Hospital, Lokoja, shortly after he collapsed in the house in the late hours of Thursday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cDoctors confirmed him clinically dead around 4.30 am on Friday\u201d, said a family member who craved for anonymity.<\/p>\n

The deceased was from Ward B in the cantonment area of Lokoja.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

He will be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery after Juma\u2019at prayer on Friday.<\/p>\n

Sympathisers were reportedly seen trooping into his family house on Friday morning at cantonment areas of Lokoja to condole the family over his sudden demise.<\/p>\n
