Prophecy Fulfilled: South Africa’s Police and Defence Crisis Foretold by Prophet Akinbodunse
Prophecy Fulfilled: South Africa’s Police and Defence Crisis Foretold by Prophet Akinbodunse
Pretoria, South Africa — Renowned Nigerian-born prophet and founder of Freedom for All Nations Outreach (FANO), Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse, has once again seen one of his prophecies manifest, this time concerning South Africa’s defence and police institutions.
During the FANO Crossover Service, Prophet Akinbodunse delivered a striking revelation that the nation was heading into a season of turmoil within its security sector. He declared:
“I see trouble and drama in South Africa’s police and defence force. The Ministry of Defence should be prayed for, because many secrets will be revealed. Celebrated leaders must prepare, because ink on paper will be read. After this, I saw the door of the prison opening. Many politicians, police officials, and defence officers will face it, but the prison door will refuse to close.”

This prophecy has gained renewed attention following Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi’s explosive allegations of corruption and political interference within the police service. Mkhwanazi revealed that more than 121 politically sensitive case dockets were allegedly removed and shelved under ministerial instruction. He further accused senior officials, including Deputy National Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya, of undermining justice and protecting powerful figures.

The revelations have shaken South Africa’s leadership, placing Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and the broader administration under heavy scrutiny. President Cyril Ramaphosa, in response, has placed Mchunu on a “leave of absence” and announced the establishment of a judicial commission of inquiry to investigate the far-reaching allegations.
For many observers, these unfolding events mirror Prophet Akinbodunse’s words with uncanny accuracy. His warning that “hidden secrets would be exposed” and that officials could face imprisonment is being echoed in the ongoing national scandal.

As the inquiry gathers momentum, South Africans are reflecting on the weight of the prophecy—seeing it as both a call to accountability and a reminder of the importance of prayer, repentance, and reform in leadership.

Airtel Nigeria launches SmartConnect 5G ODU router to expand broadband access nationwide
Airtel Nigeria has announced the launch of its SmartConnect 5G Outdoor Unit (ODU) Router, a new broadband solution designed to deliver affordable, reliable, and high-speed internet access to households and businesses across the country.
The SmartConnect router, offered at an entry cost of ₦25,000, comes with a SIM card, free installation, and a complimentary 30-day unlimited data bundle at speeds up to 50 Mbps. Customers can thereafter subscribe to flexible plans: ₦25,000 monthly for unlimited 50 Mbps or ₦45,000 monthly for unlimited 100 Mbps.
According to the telco, the router with the ODU design “is mounted outdoors to capture stronger and more stable signals, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity even in dense urban and peri-urban areas.
“The device also includes features such as nationwide usability with access to Airtel’s 5G where available and seamless fallback to 4G LTE; multi-user capability, supporting up to 64 simultaneous device connections; built-in power backup lasting up to five to six hours during electricity outages; as well as parental and usage controls for managing browsing access.
Commenting on the new device, Dinesh Balsingh, Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria said “Our mission has always been to democratise access to technology.
“With SmartConnect, we are removing the barriers of cost and complexity. Every household, and every small business deserves to be connected without compromise.”
Ismail Adeshina, Marketing Director, Airtel Nigeria, added: “SmartConnect was designed with the Nigerian reality in mind. Families, entrepreneurs, and students need reliability and confidence that their router will keep them online even in the face of power cuts or network fluctuations. This product delivers exactly that.”
The SmartConnect router can be purchased at Airtel showrooms nationwide, through the company’s official e-shop (eshop.airtel.com.ng), via Home Broadband Sales Executives, or through Direct Sales Executives. Subscriptions and bundle renewals can be managed through the Airtel Africa App, the company’s broadband portal (airtel.com.ng/hbb), USSD code *312#, or QR code.
Nigeria’s broadband penetration currently stands at around 43% (NCC, 2025), with fixed-line access limited in many regions. Airtel’s SmartConnect 5G ODU router provides a scalable and affordable solution that addresses this gap, aligning with the government’s national broadband and digital economy goals.

Prophet Kingsley Aitafo’s Prophecy on Fire Outbreak Fulfilled, Announces Upcoming Crusade
Prophet Kingsley Aitafo’s Prophecy on Fire Outbreak Fulfilled, Announces Upcoming Crusade
In what many are calling a striking fulfillment of prophecy, recent fire incidents on Lagos Island have drawn public attention to the prophetic words of Prophet Kingsley Aitafo.
Weeks ago, through his ministry platform, Oneness in Christ Ministry, Prophet Aitafo released a series of revelations urging Nigerians and believers worldwide to pray against looming disasters.
Among the warnings was a clear call to intercede against “fire disaster havoc in many parts of Nigeria and some parts of the world.”
On Thursday, shocking news broke of a fire outbreak at the UBA Lagos Island branch, followed closely by another major fire incident near Mandilas, also on Lagos Island. Videos of the blazes quickly circulated across social media, sparking public conversations about the accuracy of the prophet’s earlier warnings.
Many online followers have since described the events as a divine confirmation of the message, emphasizing the urgency of heeding spiritual counsel in turbulent times.
Speaking on the developments, Prophet Aitafo emphasized that the revelations were not meant to cause fear but to stir prayer, repentance, and preparedness. “When God speaks, He warns His people in love so that what is meant for destruction can be averted through prayer,” he explained.
In the wake of these events, the cleric has announced a “3 Days Revival” crusade, themed “This Same Jesus Christ Will Come Back Same Way” (Acts 1:10-11). The event, presented by Oneness in Christ in conjunction with CCC Living Grace Tabernacle, will take place on September 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM daily, at 20 Showole Street, Ewipe, Singer Sango, Ogun State.
Ministers will include Evangelist Leke Heritage, Evangelist Apekunle Raphael, Evangelist Michael Dickson, Evangelist Horlan Adeyemi, and other ministers of God. Prophet Aitafo Oladapo Kingsley will serve as the host and shepherd-in-charge.
Prophet Aitafo’s ministry continues to encourage intercession for Nigeria and the world, stressing that prayer remains the most powerful tool against sudden tragedies and national crises.
