Alleged N100bn loan: We have all entered ‘one chance’ – Rivers APC cries out
Court restrains Wike from sacking 23 LG CouncilsThe All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State says it has uncovered a strategic plan by Governor, Nyesom Wike to obtain loan facilities of about one hundred billion naira in a couple of months.
The APC alleged that the intention was to plunge Rivers State into an abyss of debt and economic servitude.
According a statement obtained by DAILY POST, the State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Chris Finebone said information available to the party indicated that the governor and his men had started negotiation with two other banks for the next trench of loan of thirty billion and forty billion naira.
The party said the loan journey embarked upon by the Rivers state government was to mortgage the future of the people of the state.
He alleged that Wike had already commenced negotiations with other banks for more loans.
“The governor of Rivers state plans to obtain more loans to the tune of N100 billion from other banks.
“According to the plan, the Governor plans to collect the said amount in trenches of 10billion, 20billion, 30billion and 40billion within a period of 2 months.
“With where we found ourselves now, the APC can only agree that the good people of Rivers state have ended up in the notorious Lagos buses, which is used in robbing unsuspecting citizens popularly called one chance.
“With the short term Wike-led government of Rivers state, indeed we have all entered a one chance bus.
“For the APC, the matter is graver than what the Governor knows. Governor Nyesom Wike should not spend the future of our generation and that of out unborn children in advance. And to the unborn generation, it will amount to rubbing them of the existence which the governor does not have a right to because it will be within their human rights to demand reparation by which the perpetrators will not be around anymore,” Finebone said.
However, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sir Opunabo Inko-Tariah said there was no truth in the APC’s allegation.
Sir Inko-Tariah said there was justification for the state government to borrow money because of pressing needs, including payment of salaries and execution of projects.
He advised those who were criticizing the actions of Governor Wike to be objective in their assessment.

How Primate Ayodele Foretold Collapse Of School Building In Ikorodu, Lagos
Residents of the Odo-Kekere Community in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, on Thursday evening, were thrown into panic following the sudden partial collapse of a structure in a local public school in the area.
According to a source, a section of the school building gave way late Thursday with a thunderous sound that drew neighbours to the scene.
First responders from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, and the Lagos State Building Control Agency LASBCA, raced to the scene promptly and cordoned off the area for safety purposes.
This development has no doubt fulfilled the prophecy of Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, which he shared in his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations (2025/2026) edition.
On page 108 of the prophecy book, Primate Ayodele warned against collapse of any school building in Nigeria.
“Schools in Nigeria: Let us pray so that no school will be attacked in Nigeria and that a school building will not collapse.”
Also, in his 2026 prophecies, he asked Nigerians to commit Lagos schools into God’s hands.
“Let us commit schools in Lagos to God’s hands against all attack” (Page 5).
Furthermore, in a video shared on his social media page, Primate Ayodele specifically mentioned that Nigerians should pray not to see a building collapse in Lagos.
“Let us pray not to see a school building collapse in Lagos state, Oyo, Abuja, Ogun state. Let the government go around schools and quickly demolish deplorable school buildings.”
All these have fulfilled the prophecy of Primate Ayodele.
