The Atobatele Royal family of Makun Sagamu has responded to the recent news that HRM Oba Babatunde Ajayi, The Akarigbo of Remoland is planning to install one Chief Olatunji Solaja as Olu or Oba of Soomo against the court litigation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prince Olusegun and Baale Nojeem Atobatele are standing in for Osoribiya Atobatele Royal Family and they both confirmed the litigation stopping the process of installation of Olu or Oba of Soomo at the moment except court order.

We have been consulted and on our services retained to REFER and WARN against the anticipated installation of Chief Olatunji Solaja as the Olu or Oba of Soomo against the rightful and substantive Baale – Nojeem Sotinwa Atobatele

 

It is our brief to recall and state categorically that the erstwhile Baale of Soomo – Chief Olatunji Solaja had his appointment terminated by the Ewusi-in-Council on the 17 February, 2016 in his place, Chief Nojeem Adekunle Sotinwa Atobatele was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Baale Soomo by the PRESCRIBED AUTHORITY -HRM CBÀ T. À. AKINSANYA- EWUSI MAKUN.

 

 

 

 

 

It is our further brief to state that in-spite of the above, Chief Olatunji Solaja kept on parading himself as Baale Soomo in defiance to the pronouncement and position of the Prescribed Authority -Ewusi Makun; conduct of which generated acrimony and tension within Soomo Community.

2027 Ondo North Senate: ATM secures Backing of Monarchs, Chiefs

APC Senatorial aspirant for Ondo North, Abdul Tunji Mohammed, popularly known as ATM, received a resounding endorsement on Thursday during a high-profile visit to Ikare-Akoko.

The endorsement came from the Olukare of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Akadiri Momoh IV, the Owa Ale of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeleke Adedoyin, and the Ikare Council of Chiefs, who described ATM as a credible son of the soil with the capacity to represent Ondo North effectively at the Senate.

Speaking at the palace, the Olukare commended ATM for his consistent engagement with the people and his track record in business and community development. “We have watched your contributions to Ondo North over the years. You are one of us, and we believe you have the experience and character to speak for our people in Abuja,” the monarch said.
