Well, I feel good because it is a comfortable jeep and I feel fulfilled having it.
MANY PEOPLE THOUGHT IT WAS A SPECULATION OR PROPAGANDA BUT NOW IT HAS BECOME A REALITY…
Well, this is just like a reward for hardwork. Knowing what Tom Samson represents service to humanity, and I believe that if a man labours, even bible says he will eat the fruit of his labour. I travel a lot and knowing the kind of traffic in Lagos, one needs something comfortable. It’s not just about showcasing. God has been good to me and I have impacted lives a lot in crusade, education, health, affecting communities and people. For example, someone might say why should I use limousine when people are suffering? They should know what I’ve done for the masses. So, if a man is doing good, he should eat the fruit of his labour. Thus, what you are seeing is a demonstration of God’s goodness.
IS That WHY YOU HAVE THIS LIMOUSINE? ALSO WHERE DID THE FUND COME FROM?
When I saw it, I contacted the company. They did some customized things on it and there are people whose lives have been touched by me. They organized it. It didn’t even take a dime from me. Today, if it is in my mind to own a jet, it might be shocking to you; it will not cost me a dime. Looking at the ministry I run, raising nobody to somebody around the globe, there are people that are multi-millionaire today that I impacted through my ministry. If I’m a kind of person that is after aggrandizement you could see that personally. There are not much thing you can record from me but rather the things I’ve done out there but when you look out where my riches are, they are in areas of impact- establishing University, Building of hospitals, e.t.c. Tthis is where the wealth is and it is there to serve people. But when you talk about personal things, I am not the kind of person that is after personal things.
What you see on ground is a product of those I have impacted, who happen to be in the lord. I was negotiating with a company for something to customize to my comfort. They said daddy, we can do this for you who am I? Not only this, majority of what I use. There was a time I lost my hummer jeep and within 3 weeks, three better jeeps came in by different individuals and many more like that. If you look at my garage, I can’t tell you of anyone I used my money to buy because we are dedicated to service. We’ve impacted lot of people and all they need to know. If I need a particular thing, they are willing to get it for me.
WHEN YOU LOOK AT YOUR GARAGE, IS IT A TESTIMONY OF GOD’S WONDERS. IF I AM NOT MISTAKING, THERE ARE OVER TEN EXOTIC CARS AND CUSTOMISED ROYAL ………(CUTS IN)?
Yea, that is to show you that if somebody sees this, they could misinterpret not knowing that I’ve impacted life. My riches are expended on service. As I am talking to you now, there are so many projects going on in so many places. We are doing things that will affect communities and lives. The bible says ‘give and it shall be given unto you”.
Yea, I give cars a lot, not only my pastors, even other pastors and common individuals that I am led to give to. That is a common thing. It is a thing I do a lot, even as I am talking to you I woke up this morning, there is a young guy that works for me, he isn’t a pastor, but a graduate so I felt that with the kind of work he does for me, going from place to place, he needs a car. It just crossed my mind this morning that I need to get him a car to support his work. It’s not only cars I give; there are some widows that I touched their lives too.
CAN I SAY THAT IS THE SECRET OF YOUR SUCCESS…?
That’s it. That is the word and if anyone is reading this article, it is not just thinking about you alone. One of the reasons God will give you grace is that you can be a god to others. You can be a God messenger because God is a spirit, no one sees him. As somebody is praying that “lord, please help me” it is someone that God will send to that person. so if you are going to make yourself available to God, he will give you recourses. I always tell people that one of the best ways to receive God’s blessing is to make a vow to God. If you bless me I will be available for you. God wants to bless a lot of people today but he has to use vessels. Is that vessel going to be you? That is how it is. Some people are blessed, they are rich but they have missed the purpose just like the rich man in the bible who had lot of riches and said to his soul to enjoy itself. He missed the purpose. Even the bible says ‘God is able to make all grace abound towards you that you having sufficiency in everything. We are bound to good works (2nd Cor. 9 vs. 8? God wants to give you grace so that you can have records of good works that when people cry to you, you can touch their lives. It is just like the ministry organizing conferences, broadcasting it in TV. This is quite expensive but we thank God for giving us people whom he has blessed, who stood beside us to carry this work out.
SIR, WHAT PROGRAMME ARE YOU WORKING ON PRESENTLY?
R- The major thing is the university project which is a capital project, work is on-going in our university project and there are more schools to be established. We are planning to open more churches, conferences, crusades. This year, there are a lot of communities we are sinking boreholes for, some transformers. Those are what we have on ground for now.
EASTER IS AROUND THE CORNER, WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS ABOUT IT SIR?
R- By the grace of God, every Easter, we have a camp meeting and this time around, April 2nd, Thursday night, people will come around all over Lagos and we are giving them free accommodation, free feeding and it is going to be awesome so we have a great programme and the theme is ‘TOTAL VICTORY’. The reason we are making it free is to make everyone be in attendance.
ELECTION IS AROUND THE CORNER, AND LOT OF PEOPLE ARE SCARED, AS GOD’S VOICE, WHAT IS YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THIS?
R- I must confess to you, it has never been this competitive in this country in the issue of election so people are bound to be scared but we have prayed, and I want to use this medium to tell people that we will go through this election and come out of it good. Can I tell you something about Nigeria? There have been many incident in Nigeria that could have led to total collapse of Nigeria but magically, miraculously, we survived it because Nigeria is almost the city of God in the world. Even the Americans say this. America is known to be very religious but when they come to Nigeria, do you want to talk about Baba Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, mountain of fire, Deeper life, the kind of things we are doing here and what young people like us are doing. We have great men in this country so are you going to say God won’t answer our prayers? Nigerians should be glad they have these gifts.
