BURATAI: PDP OWNING TACTLESS CAMPAIGN STRATEGY. LEAVING SUBSTANCE CHASING SHADOWS

The attention of Fusion774 has been drawn to the circulating news of People Democratic Party (PDP), calling on Mr. President to recall the former Chief of Army Staff, Amb. Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Lt. Gen. Rtd) the Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, from his place of assignment.

This is ill-conceived, tactless and inconsequential. The position of the PDP as widely reported by Nigerian print and online news platforms, has evoked reaction that portrays the PDP as a party lacking of campaign ideas, hence, dwelling on trivialities, issues that has been for long been addressed, the fact of the matter and the claim by PDP on ICPC Wuse 2, raid has been put to rest by ICPC and has come out to give their official statement on the matter,  has also, dissociate itself from the misleading fake reports circulating.

Fusion774 sees this as a wrong move by PDP. Nigerians expect to hear what the party has in stocked for them if Nigerians should vote for the party in the coming 2023 general elections.

This is what you get when a political party is not prepared to provide quality leadership.

In an electioneering period like now, political parties come up with enlightened issues of national importance, issues that will appeal to voters, instead of play diversionary tactics.

We Nigerians want to hear the quality leadership you have in stock for us, in terms of addressing the hardship citizens are facing, governance reforms, economic development as a whole.

We want to hear informed analysis of the contents of your manifesto, that is if you have it, instead of dwelling on issues that has already been addressed, real position of the matter had already been made known to us, your strategy has no bearing on us and is lacking of campaign appeal.

It seems the PDP has lost focus, hence, abdicating the responsibility of proving to be prepared to deliver quality leadership for the country.

The leadership of Fusion is disappointed with this trend, as political support and Socio-economic advocacy group our resolve is to promote and ensure that quality leadership is entrenched in the country, our members cut across all political parties, and we can influenced voting pattern, our members who are also PDP members are lamenting on their disappointment with the leadership of the PDP, as in a very crucial time like this the party can’t come up with issue based discussion. PDP members of Fusion 774 are urging the leadership to put their acts together, and to please face issues of national importance.

The Mass deportation scheme of the American president Donald Trump has been greeted with mass criticism as many believes that Trump is rather being too harsh with his policies with over 10 million migrants facing the risk of deportation, the president of Pentecostal Ministers Forum and the foundation of Kings In Christ Power Ministries International, Bishop Chidi Anthony has applauded Trump for his actions stating that it’s to the boon of the American nation

He maintained that Americans love what Trump is about to do as it was one of the things he used for campaign in order to be truiphant in the election “Trump made a promise to carry out the largest deportation in the history of America,he used it as a tool to win the election,if Americans didn’t like what he wanted to do,they wouldn’t have voted for him,i must confess that every true American will definitely like what Trump is about to do,i know he loves America and he knows what is good for the nation of America”

Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla Intervenes in Wasiu Ayinde K1 VS Islamic Clerics Saga

Published

“Gànú” is considered an
abusive word in Yoruba land. I am not supporting Wasiu Ayinde (K1) But we Muslims need to talk to ourselves. A reasonable person wouldn’t go where he or she was not invited. After all the late Wasiu Ayinde s (K1) mother was not a practicing Muslim when she was alive

I am a practicing Muslim I spend Millions of Naira yearly to promote Islam every year but I don’t joke with my Tradition as a Yoruba man and a royal born

Personally, I don’t listen to his music, as Wasiu Ayinde (K1) is not my favorite musician.

However, to be truthful, Wasiu Ayinde (K1) was clearly disappointed when he met Alfa in his house instead of his father’s house, where the prayer for his mother was supposed to take place. The mistake he made was in the choice of language.

But I am highly surprised and disappointed seeing almost every notable Islamic scholar fighting and threatening Wasiu Ayinde (K1) on Social media because of the abusive words instead of preaching for him as a Muslim

Where are you people when some Islamic scholars like Imam of Iwo. Imam Ogbomosho and Mr Rasheed of Iwo were abusing our Traditional Rulers and traditions? I personally started calling him Mr Rasheed since the day he opened his head to the general public because it is against the Yoruba traditions and culture when he was a king but he became an ordinary person immediately he opened he head

Where were you people when Imam of Saki was disrespectful to the King (Oba) of Saki?

Where were you when one of our Islamic scholars called (Ooni of Ife) to deburk what he didn’t know or Say publicly is that not an abuse to the Royalty and to the Yoruba’s?

It’s surprising seeing Islamic scholars dragging supremacy with the king (Oba) in a community not even a Chief or Baale but with a King is that not an insult?

Have you ever seen a pastor disrespecting any of Yoruba traditional rulers? Why are we Muslims always?

They respect themselves and Yoruba traditional rulers and it’s hard to see any reasonable Yoruba’s to disrespect any Pastor

If some Islamic scholars. Alfa refused to stop disrespecting Yoruba traditional rulers some Yoruba’s are still coming out to disrespect some of you publicly because only a bastard Yoruba born will be happy seeing any Religious leaders disrespecting their Traditional Rulers expecially in Yorubaland we don’t joke with our Traditional Rulers

Anyway, if all these Islamic scholars put the same energy into fighting for the citizens by addressing issues like Ritualists, Corruption, Cultism and other evil activities happening in Nigeria, our nation would undoubtedly be one of the best in the world

Wasiu Ayinde (K1) Might apologize tomorrow but the deed has done. All I know is that nobody can disrespect Yoruba traditional Rulers and go freely there must be reward

Lagos Deserves Me As Governor In 2027 – Prophet Ikuru

Published

on

Founder of the Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Prophet Godwin Ikuru, while reiterating his bid to succeed Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos State governor come 2027, has unequivocally that the state deserves no other person to occupy the Round House, Alausa, but him.

Prophet Ikuru expressed the belief that his deep understanding of the state’s complexities coupled with his extensive grassroots engagements among the residents of the state uniquely qualified him to seek the exalted seat.

Prophet Ikuru well known for his prophesies and philanthropy, it is on record that he accurately predicted the historic victory of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 elections, and his spiritual insights also supported the elections of several governors like Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Imo, Edo, and Delta States.

The prophet said veering off his known terrains of philanthropy and prophecy to contest for the exalted seat of Lagos State governor should not be surprise, because his over 27 years of living in the nation’s commercial capital has well positioned him to the job.

Prophet Ikuru, if elected as governor, promised to run on a platform of inclusivity, transparency, and development if finally elected as next governor of the state.

Prophet Ikuru noted that his philanthropic efforts had earned him widespread respect as he had consistently provided support to vulnerable communities, empowered youths and championed causes aimed at improving lives across the state.

According to the man of God, his accurate predictions and endorsements inspired him to take a more active role in governance, saying it was not enough to foresee and support the right leaders alone, adding that now is the time for him to step forward and offer himself for service as Lagos State governor.

He said Lagos State deserves a leader with a heart for the people, a vision for progress and the courage to make difficult decisions, all of which he promised to deliver as governor, noting that his proposed policies would be focused on addressing key challenges such as traffic congestion, housing deficits, youth unemployment, and healthcare.

He equally emphasised the importance of bridging the gap between the government and the people to foster trust and collaboration.

“It’s not enough to foresee and support the right leaders. Now, I believe it’s time for me to step forward and offer myself for service. Lagos State deserves a leader with a heart for the people, a vision for progress, and the courage to make difficult decisions. By God’s grace, I am ready to take on this responsibility,” he promised.
