Chief Protocol Officer to Oshiomhole, Efosa Efex Iyamu plans Big for 2019

The Chief Protocol Officer to APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, Efosa Efex Iyamu is one of the few people ready for 2019. In an interview with Sahara weekly, he revealed his plans.

Excerpts Below :

2018 has been quite a busy year for you as Comedian, Chief Protocol to the Chairman of All Progressive Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and as a family man, so how have you been able to combine all these together and still come out fresh?
The Lord has just been good to me. I have been able to manage all the spheres well without anyone being relegated. I thank God thus far because I have been able to manage it as it comes. It has really been a very hectic and busy year for me but in all, I give all glory to God.
One of the things that your followers and fans noticed about you was that you are one of the few entertainers that flew private jet like Davido and wizkid, Have you acquired yours?
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahaha. acquired a private jet? Hmmmmmmmm…. what can I say? Anyway when the jobs requires it, you use one and if your client can afford it, then you use it because it was required. I never buy yet sha….
You are the Chief Protocol Officer to the Chairman of the ruling party APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, how did you land the job and what has been your experience?
Well, I have been working with comrade Adams Oshiomhole for well over 10years now, and by the grace of God, I have stayed relevant and on top of my game. Firstly,  I was his Senior special assistant while he was Governor Of Edo State and then became his Executive Director, and now I’m his Chief protocol officer as the national chairman of the APC. The Lord has always been there for me and made me stay relevant. I got my appointment the same week he was sworn in because I stayed in touch and raised the bar for myself in my game. I must say a very BIG thank you to my boss for the strength, courage and believe in me and my potentials. Comrade has tutored me and made me grow in all spheres of influence. He’s my father, my leader for life, a no nonsense man and a man who always wants all of us around him to grow. I had so many experiences from meeting and interacting with different classes of peoples both from the presidency to the common man. Traveling back and forth all the states on the federation and even out of the country and gaining more political experiences by the day.
Let’s talk about your monthly show, did you stop it because you relocated to Abuja or are you planning something Big that will it better?
No I didn’t stop my show..when I started, I was doing the monthly show to be able to promote younger entertainers in my state and set them to a bigger stage and because I knew I will always do my major concert, I did one in February 2018 with the theme “ KINGS AND QUEENS” edition and it features Ali baba, Patoranking, gordons, Gandoki, Maleke, Dan d humorous, pencil, Mr Jollof, Acapella, Shawn P, Edo Pikin, Casino, Young Chief and a host of others. The next edition will comes up on Easter Sunday in benin because it’s now an annual event that doesn’t removed the fact that I still do events in Abuja and getting better by the day.
Efosa iyamu initiative, your foundation to reach out to the less privileged especially  feeding the kids on the street, paying bills for them in school and distributing free school uniform , all of these required Fund, how do you come about the whole concept?
The Efosa Iyamu initiative is what I have been doing for a long time privately and not because I’m looking for any favour from anyone, because I remember someone told  me that maybe I was looking for a political position and that was why I started the initiative, I just laughed because I never had that thought. My philosophy in life is that “if my success can not make another person successful, then I’m a failure” And “I don’t give because I have too much but because I know what it takes not to have sometimes” so no matter how little it is, we should be able to give back to our communities and lend a helping hand. I always give back from my salary and what I can gather from friends who really care and can assist us.
You have become a force to reckons with, when you look back how it all started and where you are now so what has been your driving force, that kept you going?
My driving force is the Lord God Almighty…. I AM STANDING HERE ONLY BECAUSE THE LORD MADE A WAY…. the Lord has been my muscle for life.
Tell us about your upcoming show, what should your fans expect from you?
my fans should expect nothing but the best because I have never done less. I’m going to wow them yet again. the first edition was superb and this is going to be the “RESURRECTION EDITION” and we will all enjoy ourselves.
What’s your words of advice for the youth as we prepare for the general election in few months?
the youths should remain positive and stay away from trouble. let’s vote for credible leaders who are not in anyway involved in fraudulent acts. People who mean well for our democracy and are accepted in the international community. People who will fight corruption and related  practices. I will say to the youth, let’s vote for a better Nigeria.
