Coalition of Youth Group Rubbishes Barr. E.R Okoroafor’s Claims On Alleged Execution Of Six Igbo Soldiers

2022: CELEBRATING THE ARMED FORCES OF NIGERIA AMID SECURITY CHALLENGES
A COMMUNIQUE OF THE COALITION OF YOUTH GROUPS IN NIGERIA AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE HOLDING IN ELFON SECRETARIAT, ABUJA ON TUESDAY, 2ND FEBRUARY, 2021.
Time:4pm
Protocols
The attention of the coalition of youth groups in Nigeria comprising the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Niger Delta Youth Council, Igbozurumee Youth Council, Arewa Youth Counci, Oo’dua Youth Vanguard, Nigerian Students Parliament (NSP), and 34 other Youth Organizations too numerous to mention ably superintended by the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON) have been drawn to a baseless report made by one Barr. E.R Okoroafor who claimed that Six Igbo Christian Nigerian soldiers were secretly executed in the federal capital, Abuja, after a hasty secret trial at which they were denied legal representation of their choice. Okorafor from investigation is said to be leading a shadowy coalition of acclaimed rights activists and scholars that alleged the above mention matter earlier today, Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
As Nigerian Youths, we can no longer fold our hands to see things done falsely and mischievously. If really E.R Okoroafor is a genuine lawyer as he masquerades about and in the light of the weighty allegation, he should have sought for redress through the legal means instead of playing to the gallery by making mischievous publication that are capable of breaching the peace of our dear Nation.
We actually wonder the type of mind this type of human being has. We equally wonder how he sleeps at night after telling these stupid lies just to blackmail people and please his pay masters.
We wonder what his intentions are if not to instigate tribal war or another civil uprising. What does he want?
Somebody like Gen Buratai who has meritorious and selflessly served his country for over 35 years, instead of all and sundry to appreciate him, here we are few rogues like the Okoroafors are mischievously and falsely accusing him of killing 6 soldiers of igbo extraction.
After independent thorough investigation, we hereby state that there is no secret court martial in the history of the Nigerian Army as claimed in their false and mischievous publication. Above all, Okoroafor and his supporters should tell the world the real identities of the so called soldiers that were allegedly executed. He should tell the world where were they executed and where are their dead bodies? Who was the president of the so called secret court Marshall and who are the members? What are their offences/ ingredients of the offences? Where is the court martial sitting?
We therefore call on the Nigerian Army to consider a court action against E.R Okoroafor and his Co men of evil deeds to serve as deterrent to other hired mischievous propagandists who are all out for the highest bidders.
Generally, from our independent investigation, there is no iota of truth in the nonsense okoroafor is saying. We challenge him to produce evidence as we believe the names he mentioned are fake. We will no longer tolerate any unpatriotic behavior borne out of mere quest for cheap and stupid popularity. Never again.
We are poised to ensure that Nigeria remains one United indivisible country against all human machinations.
God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen.
Signed:
Heads of Coalition of Youth Groups in Nigeria.

Primate Ayodele Never Said Seyi Makinde Would Become President’’ – Media Aide Clarifies*

*APC Primaries: How Primate Ayodele Foretold Ned Nwoko, Gbenga Daniel’s Loss (VIDEO)

The All Progressive Congress primary election that is currently ongoing has brought about surprises in some states, especially the Senate primary that was held yesterday.

The election, so far, can be described as one that has fallen even the mighty ones. We have seen grown men wailing and lamenting because they couldn’t accept the fact that they lost their bid to return to the national assembly despite their support for the government.

For some people who have been in the party for years, newcomers dislodged them during the election, and they have been crying foul, threatening to start legal actions, and the situation is bad for them because they can’t move to another party anymore.

Among those who were shockingly taken out of the way are Ned Nwoko, the senator representing Delta North and former governor Gbenga Daniel, the senator representing Ogun East senatorial district. Their loss is so humbling that they almost didn’t get any votes in their respective election.

Ned Nwoko lost to the former governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa, while Gbenga Daniel lost to the incumbent governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun.

However, their losses had been foretold by popular Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, who is renowned for his prophetic insights on issues about politics, governance, education, and nations, to mention but a few.

In different live services, Primate Ayodele had warned both politicians about their ambition, foretelling what would befall them if they went ahead with the primaries.

For Gbenga Daniel, Primate Ayodele stated that a higher authority has taken his right from him, while advising him to forget about the position because they will only mock him. He revealed that the case has already been settled and it’s not in the former governor’s favour. This was months before the primary was held.

These were his words:

“The issue of Dapo and Gbenga Daniel. Gbenga Daniel doesn’t know that his party doesn’t love him. What happened is from the higher authority, and that may be the end of the case, so if Gbenga is struggling, they will just be mocking him.”

As he said, despite the fact that Gbenga Daniel tried his best to see that he gets a return ticket to the senate, he had to step down a few hours before the primary election as the odd wasn’t in his favour.

For Ned Nwoko, Primate Ayodele had stated that the ticket would be given to Okowa even when nobody believed it.

These were his words:

“Okowa and Ned senate ticket; they want to give it to Okowa, so watch , they will fail you Ned.”

As he said, Ned lost woefully in the election while Okowa won him with a margin that can never be closed.

Zamfara State Approves Enhanced Pension Payouts for Retired Public Workers

In a decisive move aimed at alleviating the economic burdens of retired public servants, Zamfara State Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, has officially approved increased monthly pension payments for all former workers from both state and local government offices. The approval follows an extensive financial review of retirees’ living conditions, with particular attention to those in lower-income brackets who have been disproportionately affected by the prevailing cost-of-living crisis.

The decision was precipitated by the findings and recommendations of a special committee empaneled to evaluate the welfare situation of pensioners across the state. The committee’s report highlighted acute financial distress among aging retirees and called for immediate remedial action. In response, the state government has authorized a substantive upward adjustment in monthly pension stipends.

This increment aligns seamlessly with the Federal Government’s Minimum Wage Act of 2024, which explicitly recommended an additional monthly sum of at least N32,000 for pensioners. Governor Lawal has opted for full implementation of this advisory for all retired state and local government employees a policy intervention expected to benefit thousands of households across Zamfara. The state government has subsequently issued binding directives to all relevant agencies to ensure the expeditious and seamless disbursement of the enhanced payments without procedural delays.

Speaking on the development, the Honorable Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa, characterized the policy as a tangible demonstration of Governor Lawal’s unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for both active and former government workers. According to the Commissioner, the administration operates on the principle that dignified retirement includes access to basic necessities and financial comfort. Beneficiaries across all local government areas have been assured of prompt payment once implementation commences.
