Ibadan is set to come alive on Friday, November 14th, as King Dr. Saheed Osupa leads an exciting lineup for The Showdown with Saheed Osupa, holding at Miyaky Hotel and Suites, Akobo Road, opposite Odogbo Barack Gate, Ojurin, Ibadan.

The highly anticipated event, organized by Miyaky Hotel in collaboration with BokuJaka Media House, promises an evening filled with music, entertainment, and fun activities for attendees.

Hosted by The Royal MC Bokujaka, the show will feature performances from Ayinde Vocal and Dr. Seyi Ajo, alongside Saheed Osupa himself — one of Fuji’s most respected and consistent performers.

Alhaja Queen Isimot Abake Abiola, popularly known as Omo-Opeki, has added another feather to her cap as she was honoured at the 6th Oodua Special Recognition Awards (OSRA) held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Ojaja Arena Resort, Ile-Ife, Osun State. The prestigious event, which celebrates distinguished personalities of Yoruba heritage for their impact and service, saw the Ooni of Ife himself presenting the awards to deserving honorees.

Queen Isimot, who is the CEO of SUWAT Music & Film Nig. Ltd. and President of the Elite Women Musicians Lagos Club, was recognized for her remarkable contribution to music promotion, cultural preservation, and women’s empowerment in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Although she is currently abroad, Alhaja Queen Isimot Abake Abiola expressed deep appreciation for the recognition and dedicated the award to members of her association and her club. Friends, colleagues and family members are gearing up to honour the United States based Nollywood actress and businesswoman, Arewa Bukky Amos-Bello, as she prepares to organize a benefiting funeral reception for her late father, Pa Amos Olaniyi Folorunsho Oladapo.

Although Pa Oladapo passed at a ripe age, anyone who is well-versed with Bukky’s narratives will know she holds her father in the highest esteem, cherishing the profound impact he had on her life.
