The Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria (FUMAN) is set to bring an unforgettable musical experience to Lagos with the “Fuji Festival 2024.” In partnership with Fresh FM, this highly anticipated event promises to be a spectacular showcase of Fuji music’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant rhythms. The festival will take place on Wednesday, 21st of August, 2024, at the iconic Blue Roof Pavilion, LTV 8, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos*, starting at 12 PM.

The event will feature an impressive lineup of Fuji legends and rising stars. Leading the charge is *Mayor Tunde Damemdra*, the FUMAN Governor, who has been instrumental in promoting Fuji music across Nigeria. Joining him is the FUMAN President, *Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Agboola*, popularly known as *FSK Sensation*, whose contributions to the genre have earned him a revered place in the hearts of Fuji enthusiasts.

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, renowned Fuji artist King Saheed Osupa recently made a surprise visit to one of his most devoted fans, Asake Àlùbósà, at her shop in Oje Market, Ibadan, Oyo State. The gesture came after a video interview featuring Asake went viral, showcasing her unwavering love for the Fuji legend.

 

 

In the interview, Asake expressed her deep admiration for Saheed Osupa, passionately declaring, “Mo jẹ Saheed Osupa lówó – emi kíní burúkú yí, má náà owó fún Saheed Osupa ti n bá ní owó,” which translates to, “I owe Saheed Osupa, and will definitely spray him when God blesses me enough.” This emotional and humorous statement, which touched the hearts of many, also caught the attention of King Saheed Osupa himself.

 

 

Moved by her genuine love and dedication, King Saheed Osupa felt compelled to meet Asake in person. He visited her at her place of business, where he surprised her with One Million Naira in appreciation of her loyalty.
