“It is our responsibility to ensure qualified and capable candidates emerged as councillorship and chairmanship candidates in the forthcoming local government election in Lagos State. We are all Lagosians, we want the best for our state.

“We are calling on Gov. Sanwoolu and Dr. Tola Kasali- led Screening committee to properly screened the chairmanship aspirants for Epe Local government area.

“We have copies of the credentials of the chairmanship aspirants for Epe local government and we have spotted irregularities in the credentials presented by one of the aspirants,  Animasaun Surah Olayemi. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate/exemption letter are missing in her credentials. It is mandatory to partake in the NYSC programme after successfully graduating from the university or polytechnic. Other irregularities were also spotted in her credentials.

“Also,  her West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) certificate is not among  the documents she presented to the screening committee. According to her,  he sat for the exams in 1991 at Jibril Martin High School,  Iponri Lagos state.  By now, her WAEC certificate should be available for collection.

“The screening committee should look into this to avoid embarrassment for the party.

” Eko,  o ni baje”, the group said.
