Ogun PDP Remembers Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu A Year After Death

The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ogun state has remembered the late Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu a year after death.
Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu died on the 8th of August 2020 die to Covid-19 complications and buried according to muslin rights the following day.

The state executive of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ogun State was led by the state chairman, Samson Kayode Bankole who described Prince Buruji Kashamu as a consummate businessman, an iconic politician and unusual philanthropist, he said: “Prince Buruji Kashamu left this wicked world, The People’s Democratic Party Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria and humanity miss you and will continue to miss you till end of time because on a daily basis we see the footprints you left on a sand of time.” Said Bankole

Also, he said if it is possible to defy human being and worship same of late Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu’s milk of human kindness, his unusual heart of benevolence, his uncommon sense of charity and generosity, the undoubtedly, he is deserving of such apotheosis.

 

 

He said Late Prince Buruji Kashamu name became synonymous because he believed in grassroots politics and politicking, which made the political jet landed in Ijebu Igbo, with Omo-Ilu foundation which cuts across Ogun State.

While describing late Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu as a tactical politician, a master of the game and one who knew what he wanted and who climb the highest mountain or swim the widest water or simply navigate the widest jungle to get it.
He said his strategies should be studies by new comers in the game of politics or rather a compendium is made of your political ideologies and thoughts for the good society.

“As a resourceful and a consummate businessman, you xur a niche for yourself in the business world, Your organization, The Omo’Ilu Foundation, apart from being a home of charity was a still reported to be an enviable platform of thousands of people cutting across all spectrum and strata society, it is simply undeniable say you have re-written the narrative where human capacity building is concerned” Samson Kayode Bankole added.

He concluded that all the followers, political family is missing late Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu, assuring him that Ogun State PDP will continue to defend the legitimate legacy he left behind.

In a heartfelt message, The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Honourable Bukola Olopade, has extended warm festive greetings to Christians in Abeokuta South, Ogun State, and across Nigeria as the nation embarks on the joyous celebration of Christmas.

Sahara Weekly Unveils That The Foremost entrepreneur and President of the Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the positive impact of the naira for crude swap deal on the Nigerian economy, which has led to reduction in prices of petroleum products in the country.

To provide succour to Nigerians, Dangote recently reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N970 to N899.50 at its Refinery loading gantry and provided generous credit terms to marketers.

 

 

“To ensure that this price reduction gets to the end consumer, we have signed a partnership with MRS to sell petrol from its retail outlets nationwide at N935 per litre” he added. This price has already commenced in Lagos, and it will be offered nationwide from Monday.

 

 

In his statement, he called on other oil marketers such as the NNPC Retail and all other marketers, “to work with us to ensure that Nigerians enjoy high-quality petrol at discounted prices.”

 

 

According to him, “The Dangote Refinery is for the benefit of Nigeria and Nigerians. We will therefore continue to work with various value chain players to deliver high quality petrol at cheaper prices. Our aim is for all Nigerians to have ready access to high quality petroleum products that are good for their vehicles, good for their health, and good for their pockets.

 

 

Recall that in September, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) under the leadership of Mr. President approved the sale of crude to local refineries in Naira and corresponding purchase of petroleum products in Naira. The move, which commenced on October 1, led to reduced pressure on the dollar and ensured the stability of the local currency.

 

 

Dangote thanked Nigerians for their unwavering support and the government for creating an enabling environment for the domestic refining industry.
