They say the only constant thing in life is change. And the wind of change is blowing across the country for good, and the Evbukhu community in Oredo local government area of Edo State is not lagging behind in that perspective at all, kudos to Mr. Osabueki Iduozee who is the current youth chairman that has the magic wand to marshal in the long elusive transformation.
Putting the community in limelight amongst the communities in the state, Osabueki who is enjoying the full backings of all and sundry in the community, within the space of two years and six months as the youth chairman, has started counting the goodies that have heralded his reign. Conspicuous amongst the numerous goodies was the erection of electric poles by the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC while the community provided the transformer that powers the light.
Other notable largess that greeted the community was when he puts smiles on the faces of fifty-three persons in the community by giving each a car as a gift. The distributions were made to both youths and the elders.
These whooping gift items came to them when they least expected especially when the country is passing through financial crunch. This is why the beneficiaries will never forget in a jiffy the new lease of life given to them by the chairman which has automatically change their status for good.
Speaking further with Sahara weekly correspondent, the pragmatic and charismatic leader with emphasis said under his watchful eyes, eight of his boys have completed their houses and have packed in while others are yet to finish theirs, which thus confirmed that his tenure is inundated with the perks of life.
Extending his hands of magnanimity further, Mr. Osabueki noted that he has continuously sponsored indigenes of the community to the higher institutions of learning where they could study courses of their choice so that they could be self-sustaining and those who chose to travel abroad for a greener pasture were also sponsored.
As a man who could be best described as a philanthropist personified by the people of Evbukhu community and those who have encountered him have no cause to regret their contact but be rest assured that they are leaving with good tidings.
However, as a man who has contributed his all to the well-being of the community, Mr. Osabueki did not hid his feelings about the sorry state of the roads linking his community and Amagba rather, he passionately appealled to the federal, state and local government to come to their rescue by fixing it up in order to boost the social-economy life of the people in the community.
