As 2023 election gathers momentum, the house of Assembly hopeful for Ojomu Balogun Constinuecy in Offa local government in Kwara State, Otunba Olayinka David Ilufoye has hinted his followers that he will declare his intention to run for house of Assembly race very soon.

Otunba Ilufoye who is a member of All Progressive Congress (APC) said there is need to represent my people at state level and 2023 is the right time for me, with my experience and exposure. I will transform my constinuecy.

Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye is a philanthropist, business mogul cum politician. He was born into the family of mr and mrs Hamzat shittu in the year 1977 in offa kwara State, Nigeria.

Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye earlier in his academic career attended command children school, dansuku in Kaduna state. Later went to Government secondary school in Ilorin for his junior secondary school (JSS1-3) Otunba Olayinka proceed to immaculate international secondary school in Kaduna State for his Senior Secondary School (SS1-3)

After his secondary school, Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye went to federal polytechnic in bauchi, where he studied estate management. He also did some courses at lagos business school (LBS).

After the school life, Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye worked at Tunji Adeniyi and Co as an estate assistance, From there he started the firm called Banjo Adeleke and Co, where he rose to be an associate partner, Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye work there for over twelve years. Before he resigned in 2013 to set up his personal real estate company called, ISHI HOMES in 2013

Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye is a member of lakowe golf club, he is a member of college in Abuja, also a member of inoyo exclusive tennis club.

Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye has won series of awards in real estate and social life because of his philanthropist gesture, he joined politics in 2017 as an avenue to contribute to the growth of his constinuecy and masses at large.

Otunba Olayinka Ilufoye contested for a local government chairmanship position in offa in year 2017 under the platform of People’s democratic Party (PDP). He is also the founder of Alatunse Foundation.

In a heartfelt message, The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Honourable Bukola Olopade, has extended warm festive greetings to Christians in Abeokuta South, Ogun State, and across Nigeria as the nation embarks on the joyous celebration of Christmas.

Recognizing the significance of this time of year, Olopade emphasized the essence of unity, love, and gratitude that the Christmas season embodies. Sahara Weekly Unveils That The Foremost entrepreneur and President of the Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the positive impact of the naira for crude swap deal on the Nigerian economy, which has led to reduction in prices of petroleum products in the country.

To provide succour to Nigerians, Dangote recently reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N970 to N899.50 at its Refinery loading gantry and provided generous credit terms to marketers.

 

 

“To ensure that this price reduction gets to the end consumer, we have signed a partnership with MRS to sell petrol from its retail outlets nationwide at N935 per litre” he added. This price has already commenced in Lagos, and it will be offered nationwide from Monday.

 

 

In his statement, he called on other oil marketers such as the NNPC Retail and all other marketers, “to work with us to ensure that Nigerians enjoy high-quality petrol at discounted prices.”

 

 

According to him, “The Dangote Refinery is for the benefit of Nigeria and Nigerians. We will therefore continue to work with various value chain players to deliver high quality petrol at cheaper prices. Our aim is for all Nigerians to have ready access to high quality petroleum products that are good for their vehicles, good for their health, and good for their pockets.

 

 

Recall that in September, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) under the leadership of Mr. President approved the sale of crude to local refineries in Naira and corresponding purchase of petroleum products in Naira. The move, which commenced on October 1, led to reduced pressure on the dollar and ensured the stability of the local currency.

 

 

Dangote thanked Nigerians for their unwavering support and the government for creating an enabling environment for the domestic refining industry.
