PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW AUDITOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION

 

By powers vested in him by Section 86 of the 1999 Constitution (Amended), President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Shaakaa Chira as the substantive Auditor-General of the Federation, as recommended by the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

 

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW AUDITOR-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION

 

The President approved Mr. Chira’s appointment after the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) conducted a screening exercise that identified Mr. Chira as the most qualified candidate who had also scored the highest in the examination amongst all qualified candidates for the office.

 

 

President Bola Tinubu expects the new Auditor-General to justify the confidence reposed in him and to live up to the high expectations that Nigerians have concerning the execution of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.

Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai felicitates Muslims on the occasion of Eid Kabir Sallah celebration, calling for peaceful coexistence among Citizens irrespective of ethno-religious difference.
In a speech delivered shortly after the Eid Prayer, Buratai emphasized the importance of prayer in addressing the challenges of life and security in Nigeria.
The remark, which was given in an interview with a journalist shortly after Eid prayer, stated, “Prayer is the weapon of the believer, so there is a need for prayers for peace and prosperity in the country.”
“I also want to use this occasion to urge the community to cooperate with the security forces to enable them to carry out their duties effectively.
“There is need to remind ourselves on this special occasion of the significance of unity, prayer, and cooperation in building a peaceful and prosperous society”. Buratai said.

Sahara Weekly Reports That The prophetic hall of fame, prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry is felicitating with the Muslims in Nigeria as they celebrate their Id el Kabir.

Speaking today in Ikeja, Lagos,the prophet implored them to use the opportunity to pray for the nation,he also called for peaceful Co-existence between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria ” I sincerely want to felicitate with the Muslims as they celebrate their Id el Kabir,I want them to know that i love them become they’re wonderful people because i have been privileged to meet some of them and lived with some of them during my early days as a young man,i want to implore them to use this celebration period to pray for peace in our dear nation”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prophet Godwin Ikuru is one of the clergies that believes that the Muslims are Christians are serving one God that’s why he has always shown love to the Muslims,he doesn’t discriminate like other clergies; he’s the only Christian clergy who congratulated Sanusi as he got back the throne of the Emirship which he was dethroned years ago.

Father uses 6-yr-old daughter for ritual

 

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have begun a manhunt for a young man identified as Stanley for allegedly killing her six-year-old daughter for ritual.

 

It was gathered that the dastardly act took took place in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area, LGA.

 

State Police spokesman, Bright Edafe in a statement gave the name of the little girl as Abigail , saying the sad incident occurred at Uvwiama new layout area of Agbarho.

The police spokesman said police had commenced manhunt for the suspect who fled after the heinous act, noting that the remains of the little girl had been deposited at the morgue.

“The Command is aware of the gruesome murder of one Abigail, six years old, allegedly by the father one Mr. Sankey . The sad and painful incident was reported by the brother to the fleeing suspect who is in his 20s.”
