Stakeholders call Individual to invest in commercial and Agro tourism Industry to Boost the Economy.

Stakeholders in the tourism industry have call on federal ,state and private sectors to invest in commercial and agro tourism industry to boost the economy.

The advised was given by different speakers yesterday at the 4th Tourism world international commercial conference and award held in Lagos at Golden Tulip hotel, Festac

Speaking at the theme of the conference”infrastructure and human capital development for global sustainable hospitality and tourism growth”the chief executive officer(CEO) tourism world international Uwakwe Solomon also call on government to support the industry building infrastructure.

According to him government have not done enough, “I know very well that government can do all but they would have try”.

He therefore call private individuals as a forum to build infrastructure that will help to promote the sector. “nothing stop us from coming together, we can plan something to build the sector. I will like us to do some social economic development for this sector. We can go to Bank and take loan”he said.

He stated further that once it is done that it will put in a place of good management.

He explained further that agro business is very lucrative and it go along way to create employment for the country.

Also speaking at the conference, publisher Editor in chief, Waka about Africa magazine, Chinyere Ogidi Nwamma on”significance of hospitality leisure to human wellbeing “a call on Nigerians to endeavor to use hospitality centres like hotel and recreational areas to relax sometime with aim to improve their lifestyle.

She commended hotel business which have provided a very good place for many company, and group to meet comfortably and brainstorm on issues and come out with solution.

She explain further on recreational activities as well as the need for stress control management “as tourist we should also endeavor to visit remote areas and only the develop locations so that we can see for ourself “,she said.

She call on people to invest their time on social activities.

Another speaker Mrs Ejike Catherine the proprietor of the tourism world international school spoke on”tourism and hospitality, revolution tools to boost the economy “,tourism boost economy development and promote peaceful coexistence.

She explain that tourism will reduce over depending on oil product which world price usually give government headache.

According to her, she explained that being tourist does not mean you must live an expensive life”tourism helps one to know what is happening globally” she said.

She urge government to create ministry of tourism so that foreigners can come over and patronise the country.

Adding, that federal government should ensure security and provide enough food so that tourist to the country will get whatever they need and go back with happiness.
