On Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, the TAMPAN Guild of Directors, under the esteemed chairmanship of Ambassador Titi Jeje, organized a remarkable event, combining continuous professional education for Yoruba movie directors with an enthralling award and gala night. Monsuru Obadina Fala, Ade Ajiboye (popularly known as Big Abass), and Musibau Raheem Abisogun, who have left an indelible mark on the industry, were all deserving recipients of this distinction. Additionally, Abbey Lanre, a veteran director renowned for his exceptional storytelling prowess, was also honoured and celebrated during the gala night.
