By Oluwatosin Alex

The Governor-elect of Taraba state, Dr Agbu Kefas has decided to toil a path different from the norms by ensuring that his cabinet appointments reflect his promise to run an all-encompassing administration void of regard for religious affiliations.

We have it on record that the governor-elect has penned down names from the Muslim community to make up at least 30% of his cabinet members. This is definitely a huge record as it has never happened in the history of Taraba state governance.

Agbu Kefas has been working round the clock to ensure he selects qualified politicians and technocrats in order to deliver his campaign promises to the people of Taraba state. Since he won the election, He has been consulting, meeting investors, hosting oppositions, to ensure a better Taraba state is achievable.

To show his readiness to work, Dr Agbu Kefas has chosen his cabinet members, commissioners, senior special advisers, and aides. Although their names are yet to be unveiled, it is on record that the youths and Muslim communities are well represented on the list.

Despite the fact that the election results show that the majority of his votes didn’t come from the Muslims, Dr Agbu Kefas has proven to be a man of integrity by fulfilling his promise to run an all-inclusive government.

Agbu Kefas’ devotion and commitment to deliver quality leadership to the people of Taraba state knows no bounds. Several investors have shown interest in Taraba state due to the doggedness and sincerity of the governor-elect to make Taraba great again.

The state is indeed blessed with several natural resources that includes potassium, tin, rubber, lithium, to mention a few and under Agbu Kefas’ administration, these resources will be explored for the improvement of Taraba state.
