Why Atinuke Bello is Fit To Replace Kadiri As The Deputy Speaker, OGHA

There has been uproar on social media space shortly after the impeachment of Hon Oludare Kadiri as Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly.

It could be recalled that a five men committee was set up by the speaker, Hon Taiwo Oluomo to investigate the misconduct of embattled deputy speaker, Hon Dare Kadiri which found him guilty of the allegations levied against him by the Secretary to the state government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi on invasion of his private residence by suspected hoodlums whereby breaking the entrance door.

The committee report led to 19 members passing vote of no confidence on the leadership of Hon Dare Kadiri as the Deputy speaker, they quickly moved a motion of impeachment after adoption of committee report on gross incompetence as a principal officer of the assembly and the speaker pronounced him impeached today 4th of March 2021.

The social media has been in suspense over who to enter the shoes Hon Kadiri left behind, the choice of replacement according to social media users was subjected to Hon Atinuke Bello, Hon Sola Adams and Hon Fasua but the person with highest ranking among the trio is Hon Atinuke Bello being the Chief Whip of the assembly with outstanding performance in her constituency.

Atinuke Bello, according to Madam Silifat Shifawu, a beneficiary of her empowerment initiative to the widows, aged women and men described her as a woman of value with selfless services to the people. She also said Hon Atinuke Bello exemplary leadership acumen is incomparable to any of the past representative at the state assembly.

Another youth who was empowered with working material, sewing machine Miss Afolake Salisu said if by Gods grace Hon Atinuke Bello becomes the deputy speaker of Ogun State Assembly the constituent would benefit more from the government through his selfless services.

2027 Ondo North Senate: ATM secures Backing of Monarchs, Chiefs

APC Senatorial aspirant for Ondo North, Abdul Tunji Mohammed, popularly known as ATM, received a resounding endorsement on Thursday during a high-profile visit to Ikare-Akoko.

The endorsement came from the Olukare of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Akadiri Momoh IV, the Owa Ale of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeleke Adedoyin, and the Ikare Council of Chiefs, who described ATM as a credible son of the soil with the capacity to represent Ondo North effectively at the Senate.

Speaking at the palace, the Olukare commended ATM for his consistent engagement with the people and his track record in business and community development. “We have watched your contributions to Ondo North over the years.
