​Rep. Candidate gives free surgical outreach, cataract operations and other medical procedures to Indegenes of Ijebu in Ogun State

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate for the House of Representatives for Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside federal constituency, Dr. Olufemi Tajudeen Sanni, has provided over 100 free surgical procedures for the indigenes of Ijebu, Ogun State and has touched over 10,000 people with his health outreaches since January 2011. 
He also said that he will continue with the foundation if elected into office in 2019.
The ADP candidate also gave free cataract operations as well as free prescription eyeglasses for those in need in partnership with the Eye Foundation  (an NGO) during his campaign tour within his constituency. And this is ongoing as his campaign moves to Ogun Waterside this Saturday, 15th December 2018.
Dr. Sanni made this known to newsmen during the health outreach in Ijebu-Igbo, (Ijebu North LG) Ogun State. 
The consultant psychiatrist while speaking to the newsmen said he had passion for serving humanity and that he was keen to serve the people of his constituency with his passion and his inclusive leadership quality.
“It has been part of me to give back to the people that is why my heart is in Nigeria even while living in the United Kingdom. I love my people and my community, and I have demonstrated this love to them over these past years and I am ready to do more for them if elected in 2019.”
“Through the Steno Memorial foundation, of which I am the CEO and founder, we have been able to provide free health outreaches and performed free surgeries to indigent sons and daughters of Ijebu and have also assisted in providing educational support services including awarding scholarships and organizing quiz competitions in all public secondary schools in Ogun State since 2015.” 
According to him, “Steno Memorial Foundation was set up in memory of his late brother Late Engr. Abayomi Sanni popularly known as (Steno). The foundation was set up over eight years ago and has touched thousands of lives through its biannual free health outreaches, free surgeries to indigent sons and daughters of Ijebu, educational support services and assistance, scholarships, and quiz competitions.”
“In partnership with St. Michael-Israel specialist hospital, over 100 free surgical procedures have been provided for indigenes of Ijebuland. We have ongoing free cataract operations as well as free prescription eyeglasses for those in need in partnership with Eye Foundation( an NGO),
He stressed that his leadership attributes and mentorship has earned him a following amongst the youth in the communities comprising the Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
 The ADP candidate also promised to provide credible leadership, enabling environment and qualitative representation for his constituency.
“I am confident of my commitment to serve my people. I will work hard to bring the dividends of democracy to my people. Although I have not been in politics for a long time, I have held management and leadership roles for many years now. The position of member of the Federal House of Representatives is for someone who has shown such qualities and who is passionate about serving his people. I have had the chance to visit majority of the wards within my constituency and I have spoken and listened to my people and I can feel their pain and appreciate their sufferings.”
He explained that he wants to be able to alleviate their suffering and the pain by providing strong legislative representation that will bring federal government’s projects and developments to the people of his constituency. 
He expressed his sadness about the lack of jobs and enabling environment for capable youth to strive. He also stated that women empowerment was dear to his heart as mothers are usually the ones to provide the stability needed in most homes.
According to him,  ADP is created to provide mass employment for the youths if supported in 2019.

2027 Ondo North Senate: ATM secures Backing of Monarchs, Chiefs

APC Senatorial aspirant for Ondo North, Abdul Tunji Mohammed, popularly known as ATM, received a resounding endorsement on Thursday during a high-profile visit to Ikare-Akoko.

The endorsement came from the Olukare of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Akadiri Momoh IV, the Owa Ale of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeleke Adedoyin, and the Ikare Council of Chiefs, who described ATM as a credible son of the soil with the capacity to represent Ondo North effectively at the Senate.

Speaking at the palace, the Olukare commended ATM for his consistent engagement with the people and his track record in business and community development. “We have watched your contributions to Ondo North over the years. You are one of us, and we believe you have the experience and character to speak for our people in Abuja,” the monarch said.
