Ajadi Congratulates Adedamola As PDP Gov’ship Candidate In Osun
Governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State for the 2027 general election, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has congratulated Adebayo Adedamola (popularly known as Fryo) on his emergence as the PDP gubernatorial candidate for the 2026 Osun State election.
Adedamola clinched the party’s ticket on Tuesday after polling 919 votes out of 957, following the withdrawal and resignation of Governor Ademola Adeleke from the PDP.
The primary election, supervised by a committee led by Humphrey Abba and monitored by INEC officials under tight security, resulted in Adedamola being named the consensus candidate.
statement issued on Tuesday evening, Ambassador Ajadi described Adedamola’s victory as “a confirmation of the confidence the Osun PDP family and the people of the state have in his leadership capacity.”
He praised the peaceful conduct of the primary. He commended the delegates for what he called “a demonstration of true internal democracy needed to strengthen the PDP ahead of the 2026 governorship election in Osun and the 2027 general elections nationwide.”
He said, “I heartily congratulate Adebayo Adedamola on his well-deserved emergence as the PDP governorship candidate in Osun State. His victory reflects the voice and will of dedicated party members who came out to uphold the values of democracy, transparency, and unity.”
He added that Adedamola’s emergence comes at a crucial time for the party in Osun and Nigeria as a whole.
“This victory is not just for Adedamola; it is for the PDP family and for the restoration of good governance in Osun State. I am confident he will give the people a credible, people-oriented, and development-driven campaign,” he said.
Ambassador Ajadi also commended the committee in charge of the primary for conducting a seamless exercise despite earlier uncertainties arising from internal party disagreements and Adeleke’s resignation.
The PDP has once again shown maturity in resolving internal issues and moving forward with a united front. I salute the leadership of our party and the committee led by Humphrey Abba for ensuring due process and fairness,” he added.
Ajadi urged party members in Osun State to rally behind their candidate as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has mandated political parties to submit names of flagbearers before December 15, ahead of the August 8, 2026, governorship poll.
He expressed confidence that Adebayo Adedamola’s candidacy will energise the party ahead of the election.
I encourage all stakeholders, leaders, and loyal members of our party in Osun to unite in support of our candidate. Victory is assured when we speak with one voice,” he said.
As a 2027 Oyo State governorship hopeful, Ambassador Ajadi reaffirmed his commitment to fostering unity across South-West PDP chapters and strengthening the party’s chances in future elections.
“The PDP is rising again in the South-West, and together we will build a stronger, more people-focused political movement for 2026 and 2027,” he reiterated.

Buratai: The General Who Rebuilt Courage — How One Man’s Vision Transformed the Nigerian Army
In the annals of Nigeria’s military history, few names command as much respect, admiration, and enduring loyalty as that of Major-General Tukur Yusuf Buratai. A legend to many and a hero to countless more, Buratai’s era as Chief of Army Staff became a defining chapter—one marked by discipline, transformation, and renewed national pride.
At a time when Nigeria faced some of its most daunting security challenges, Buratai stood firm at the helm, guiding the nation’s forces with a calm resolve that inspired confidence across all ranks. His leadership did not simply command obedience; it ignited purpose. Under his watch, soldiers regained morale, discipline was strengthened, and an unwavering sense of direction was restored.
Buratai championed far-reaching reforms that reshaped operational readiness and improved the welfare of servicemen and women. He understood that a motivated soldier is an unbeatable force, and so he built systems that elevated professionalism, enhanced training, and opened clearer pathways for young officers to grow. For many, his vision became the spark that lit their passion for service, giving new hope to careers that once stood uncertain.
But beyond the battlefield and barrack walls, Buratai’s leadership radiated deeper values—unity, patriotism, and national dignity. He often emphasized that protecting Nigeria is not merely a responsibility; it is an honor. Today, the footprints of his legacy are unmistakable. The army he helped shape is more cohesive, more resilient, and more trusted by the Nigerian people. His influence continues to echo through the ranks, in the discipline of our soldiers, the confidence of the public, and the stability of the institution he once led.
Major-General Buratai’s story is not just one of military success—it is a story of vision, sacrifice, and leadership that rebuilt courage in a nation that needed it most. His name, etched boldly in the fabric of Nigeria’s history, remains a guiding light for generations of soldiers who follow in his path.

PROPHETIC SHOCKWAVE: How Prophet Kingsley Aitafo Foretold the Coup Attempt That Shook Guinea-Bissau
PROPHETIC SHOCKWAVE: How Prophet Kingsley Aitafo Foretold the Coup Attempt That Shook Guinea-Bissau
In a stunning twist that has gripped political observers and the global prophetic community, a prior warning issued by Nigerian cleric Prophet Kingsley Aitafo has resurfaced—this time with chilling accuracy. His prophetic caution about an impending coup plot in Guinea-Bissau has now aligned with the recent attempt to unseat the West African nation’s leadership.
Months before tensions spilled into the open, Prophet Aitafo released a public prophecy highlighting military unrest, internal betrayal, and a looming attempt to destabilize the sitting government. At the time, many dismissed the message as improbable, given Guinea-Bissau’s relative calm. But the sudden eruption of political violence and attempts by elements within the security structure to overthrow the government have rekindled attention to the prophecy.
According to Prophet Aitafo’s earlier revelation, West Africa was entering “a sensitive season where leaders must stay vigilant against internal conspiracies.” He specifically mentioned that Guinea-Bissau was “on the radar of unseen forces pushing for unconstitutional change.”
Those words now appear uncannily prescient. The attempted coup—marked by gunfire, military confrontation, and an effort to seize strategic government assets—matches key elements of Aitafo’s earlier message.
Political analysts believe Guinea-Bissau’s fragile institutions and long history of military influence made it vulnerable, but the timing and manner of events have left many astonished by the prophetic alignment.
Across social media, supporters and observers are revisiting Prophet Aitafo’s warning, calling it yet another confirmation of his spiritual foresight. Many argue that African leaders should begin to pay closer attention to prophetic messages that highlight looming national security threats.
As Guinea-Bissau begins the difficult process of restoring calm and reclaiming stability, many are now asking: What else did the prophet see—and are West African nations truly prepared for what comes next?

Another Win For ADC In Osun State! BY Gbenga Shaba
Another Win For ADC In Osun State!
BY Gbenga Shaba
Since the coalition of parties across Nigeria adopted the African Democratic, ADC, it’s been an upward renewal of hope and aspirations for a better tomorrow in the country, most especially in Osun State.
The news that Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who is gearing up to seek a second term in office, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to seek reelection in another unknown party is a big win for the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola-led ADC in the state.
His resignation was announced late Monday in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, who disclosed that Adeleke had formally withdrawn his membership since November 4, 2025.
According to Rasheed, the governor’s resignation letter was addressed to the PDP chairman in Ward 2, Sagba Abogunde, Ede North Local Government Area.
Quoting from the letter, Rasheed said the governor cited the escalating crisis within the PDP’s national leadership as the reason for his decision.
“Due to the current crisis within the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), I hereby resign my membership of the PDP with immediate effect,” the letter read.
Adeleke expressed appreciation to the party for the platform through which he was elected as a senator representing Osun West and later as governor.
The statement, however, did not indicate the party Adeleke intends to join.
Reports had earlier suggested that he made attempts to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with alleged backing from President Bola Tinubu, but the move reportedly met resistance from the Osun APC leadership.
With the Osun governorship election scheduled for August 2026, Adeleke is now expected to seek re-election on a different party platform, which the political observers in the state see as a big win for the momentum growing among the ranks and files of ADC.
According to some observers, not only would the supporters of the Governor and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP scatter, they will also be seeking political asylum from other parties, and with a leader that is as popular, forward-thinking, and democratic as Ogbeni Aregbesola.
ADC’s profile and integrity are growing massively in the State and people are really interested in the affairs of the State.
Just a few days ago, the paramount ruler of Osogbo land, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Laroye II openly endorsed and declared for Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Osun as the state prepares for the 2026 gubernatorial election.
Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun told Ogbeni Aregbesola and all supporters of ADC, “that you have come to openly declare being in a new party with all those that followed you, means the whole of Osogbo will be behind you. No one will see me and not see Aregbe, and when you see Aregbe, you will surely see me.”
Saying, “Aregbesola’s journey this time around is different. This is because he has now come to work assiduously for the betterment of the people of Osun.
“He is one man I respect a lot, because when some naysayers were mounting pressure on him to dethrone me, he did not listen to them.
“We are not ingrates in Osogbo. Osogbo is always united when it comes to Politics.
“I’m for Aregbesola. I will never leave him. Wherever he goes, we shall follow.”
This assured support was not just from the Ataoja of Osogbo, but from one of the highest-ranking Kings in the Kingdom and a role model for many voters in Osun.
