Family Pose For Battle As Tunde Ayeni Retrieved Office Allegedly Gifted To Female Lawyer, Adaobi Over Paternity Issue

Nigerian businessman and former chairman of defunct Skye Bank, Tunde Ayeni has evicted his estranged lover, Adaobi Alagwu from an office building he gifted her, SaharaReporters has gathered.

Ayeni is alleged to have fathered a child, a baby girl, with Adaobi, a claim he has blatantly denied.

SaharaReporters had in March 2023 reported that the businessman asked the lawyer to vacate the multimillion Naira building.

The building is located at 36, Birao Street, Wuse 2, back of AP Plaza, off Adetokunbo Ademola Street in Abuja.

However, Adaobi in a letter to Ayeni warned him against such action.

Speaking to SaharaReporters on Wednesday night, a source said despite the female lawyer’s letter insisting on keeping the office building, the property had been sealed off by the businessman.

“Are you aware Ayeni has taken all the properties he got for Adaobi including the office building in Abuja? Sincerely speaking, she has been evicted from that her once-proud ‘Airbridge Chambers’ office space in Wuse, Abuja and a visit to the office building shows it is in isolation and deserted. Far from dwelling in a mansion, Adaobi now lives in isolation in a rented apartment somewhere around Jabi, a suburb on the city’s outskirts, a source close to Ayeni told SaharaReporters.

On January 16, 2023, SaharaReporters first published the report claiming a paternity tussle between Tunde Ayeni and the lawyer, Adaobi Alagwu.

The report delved into their alleged relationship, tracing a dating history since 2019 and connections to prominent personalities within the Abuja social sphere.

“In the recent publication also published by SaharaReporters, Biola, Ayeni’s wife dismissed the 31-year-old Alagwu as a desperate young lady who has never had to do any important work in her adult life other than living off men and the season of Ayeni funding her lifestyle over.

“The fallout of the interview has left Adaobi in a state of distress, her former confidence now replaced by tears and shadows.”

The source added, “The G-Wagon Adaobi once drove was not a gift from Tunde Ayeni as reported and her relationship with Ayeni as publicly declared has since crashed and hit the rocks. Adaobi has really never had to work or hustle for any job or client, as suggested by Mrs Ayeni in the interview.

“And now, Tunde Ayeni himself has admitted that his erstwhile relationship with Adaobi was a ‘mistake’ with someone who was out to destroy him.

“Ayeni has said to everyone that he has nothing to do with her or her child and will never do. He’s even blocked her on all his phones and cut every communication ties with her. And it’s really hard to understand why someone that tells so many lies will be taken seriously, already everyone knows Ayeni didn’t buy her a G-Wagon as earlier suggested in the media.

“Let me also hint you about a plan for DNA test as hinted by Mrs Ayeni in her interview. Adaobi still chooses to make Ayeni the face of her relationship because he’s probably her highest paying victim hence why she continues to use his name to validate herself and just wouldn’t let go as most side chicks in Nigeria do.”

When contacted, a close relative of Adaobi confirmed she had been evicted from the property.

He insisted that Ayeni was responsible for the pregnancy as he paid the female lawyer’s flight tickets, and hospital bills to have the baby in the United States.

The source added that the child’s international passport carried his name which he was very much aware of.

“Yes my brother, he has sent her away from the house and office building. We were surprised how he suddenly changed Ayeni and denied the baby probably because of his wife at home. The continued humiliation and attack on Adaobi by Ayeni and his wife won’t be tolerated, the family will soon speak on this and I’ll definitely let you know,” Adaobi’s family member said.

Among His Peers, Oba Orin Saheed Osupa Stands Out : The Fuji Star’s Storytelling Legacy

By Alhaji Arems

In the vibrant world of Fuji music, where the artistry of storytelling and cultural commentary thrive, Saheed Osupa has carved out a unique role as both an artist and an influencer of thought. Recently, his name has been lighting up social media discussions and generating significant buzz—not just because of his music but because of the depth of his words. Osupa’s trending status is rooted in his ability to subtly address pressing issues, particularly those surrounding the ongoing tension between fellow Fuji musicians Taye Currency and Pasuma Wonder.

Osupa’s recent contributions to this situation have not been straightforward; rather, he has adopted an artistic approach, using parables and proverbs—sometimes through complex storytelling—to impart wisdom. These nuanced messages, often hidden within his lyrics, resonate with fans who appreciate the clever way he brings age-old Yoruba wisdom into contemporary issues. One notable example involves a story about an animal (traditionally symbolizing patience and resilience) that many believe reflects Osupa’s thoughts on rivalry and pride. Through this parable, he seems to suggest the importance of self-reflection and restraint, especially in the heat of conflict.

In a genre that values not only musicality but also the power of words, Osupa has long been seen as a master of *itan*, or storytelling. His recent songs echo the traditional Yoruba way of imparting wisdom through tales that serve as lessons. This is a skill that few artists have mastered, making his approach particularly impactful in today’s fast-paced digital world, where nuanced messages can often be overlooked.

Beyond the Taye Currency-Pasuma Wonder issue, Osupa’s trending status is also due to his reputation as a voice of reason and maturity in Fuji music. As a genre that is often vibrant and full of competitive spirit, Fuji has its share of rivalries. Yet, Osupa has often stood out by promoting unity and peaceful dialogue among Fuji artists. By sharing these reflective stories in his music, he adds layers of meaning that fans continue to unpack and discuss, drawing new audiences who appreciate both the artistry and wisdom behind his words.

The charm of Saheed Osupa lies in his timeless approach. In a world where trends are fleeting, he reminds fans of the importance of timeless values, urging reflection, humility, and understanding. As fans interpret and share his latest stories, Osupa’s message continues to resonate widely—proof that, in Fuji, the power of words can be as influential as the beat of the drum.
