The Nigerian music industry has witnessed immense success and unprecedented growth within the last couple of years;top American singers and producers were able to ignite musical deals and collaborations with Nigerian music Stars which ultimately was to the boon of the Nigerian music industry, Nigerians saw their music Stars transform to world superstars and celebrities,D’banj performed at the AFCON in 2013,Davido performed at the World cup final in 2022 in Qatar,Burna Boy performed at the Champions League final in 2023,Yemi Alade performed at 2024 AFCON,Rema performed at 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony,just to mention a few.Some of them have won the Grammy award as Nigerian singers are always getting Grammy nominations.

Speaking about the sudden transformation of the fortune of the Nigerian music industry, the prophetic hall of fame, prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry made a startling revelation that will make everyone linger in bewilderment.He said “for every success one attains in life,a prize must be paid,God told me to pray and fast for the growth and success of the Nigerian music industry,I fasted for 9 years for the growth of the music industry,i fasted from the year 2001 to 2010,i ate just once in a day from 2001 to 2010, everyone can see the tremendous growth the industry has recorded,they are soaring high,no African nation can contend with Nigeria because the growth was ignited spiritually,Davido,Burna Boy and others can continue to swim in fame and wealth because the prize has already been paid”.

Halima Abubakar Foundation to hold Appreciation Charity Outreach for over 1,000 disabled men, women

Veteran actress and philanthropist, Halima Abubakar is set to put smiles on the faces of less privileged persons in the society under the auspices of her Halima Abubakar Foundation.

Plans are currently in top gear for the foundation’s Appreciation Charity Outreach, which intends to provide free healthcare for at least 100 children, and share foodstuffs for more than 1000 disabled men and women.

The charity program is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 27 July, 2024 at PWD Emir Palace, Karonmajigi, FCT Abuja.

Halima Abubakar said the charity outreach, which is her own little way of giving back to the society, particularly at this difficult economic state of the country, will be a continuous exercise.

She therefore called for collaboration from all well-meaning Nigerians and firms in making the dream bigger.

“I’m appealing to friends, family and fans to join me in this journey to touch lives positively. We will appreciate financial support, children’s medicine, clothes, toys, books and food items,” Halima solicited.

Abubakar was born in Kano but from Kogi State. She attended Ideal primary school in Kano, then studied Sociology at Bayero University, Kano.

Her first lead role was in Gangster Paradise. She is also the CEO of a Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company.

The multiple award-winning thespian has starred in many Nollywood films, some of which include Slip of Fate, Missing Child, Secret Shadows, Ladies Gang, Area Mama, Men in Love, Okafor’s Law and Love Castle.

The lingering tussle between popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo and controversial influencer, VeryDarkMan is far fron being over. This is not inconnected to the fact that Music executive Paul Okoye, aka Paulo, is fuming after controversial self-styled social media activist, VeryDarkMan, who dragged his partner, actress Iyabo Ojo, online.

VDM had in a video message on Wednesday claimed that Iyabo Ojo and some content creators weren’t invited to Davido and Chioma’s wedding on Tuesday but the after-party.

The actress debunked the claims by sharing a screenshot of her invitation card on her Instagram page.

Angered by VeryDarkMan’s false claims against his partner, Paulo took to his Instagram story to ask some of his associates, including Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, DJ Obi, Suen Kuti, Tunde Ednut and Poco Lee who also associate with VDM to choose between him and the activist.

He wrote: “This nonsense will stop today @mazitundeednut @davido @cubana_chiefpriest @bigbirdkuti @djobiondeck @poco_lee either me (friend) or him (VDM). You need to make a decision.”
