It felt like the presence of heaven came down to earth on Sunday, 23rd of May, 2021 when Popular prophet, Joshua Iginla celebrated his birthday and dedicated his 80,000-capacity church building named ‘City of wonders’.
It was a colourful event that brought the whole Nigerian entertainment industry to church regardless of their religion, beliefs and differences. As it is known that Prophet Joshua Iginla is a lover of the Nigerian creative industry, it was indeed a full house from the Yoruba and English movie industry in Nigeria. Some of the Yoruba movie actors that were present include Taiwo Ibikunle,Bimbo Oshin, Yomi Fashlanso, Mide Martins,Foluke Daramala, Eniola Ajao, Afonja Olaniyi Sanyeri, Mowummi Ajiboye, Idowu Phillips widely known as Mama Rainbow.
We also had the English movie actors that include Rose Odika, Zark Orji, Alex Osifo, Funsho Adeolu, Ngozi Nwosu, Chiyere Wilfred, Joyce Kalu, Jibola Jabo, Kilint Iguemba,Charles Awurum, Ada Ameh, zebudiah AKA 4:30, Ayo Emmanuel, among a host of many others
Apart from the movie industry, anointed minister of God, Eben was around during the course of the programme to lift up the soul of the congregation in true worship to God, indeed, the presence of God came down during this powerful ministration.
Tim Godfrey, and Esther Igbekele who are well known to be energetic praise machines graced the event with their team to set the congregation on their feet, dancing to the glory of the Lord and appreciating God in the life of Prophet Joshua Iginla.
It was also an array of laughter when popular comedians, Aboki4christ, Sam and Song mounted the stage to do what they know how to do best.
The mind-blowing event was also graced by the friends of Prophet Joshua Iginla in the ministry; Prophet Jeremiah Omofufeyin of Mercyland ministries, and Prophet Chris Okafor of Grace Nation in Lagos. They described Iginla as a friend and a brother who has made sacrifices for the Kingdom of God.
Prophet Omofufeyin described Iginla as a senior whom he respects in the ministry because he loves him so much.
He also appreciated his wife, Prophetess Stella Iginla for standing by him, stating that what God has done in Champions Royal Assembly is mindblowing and its evident that the finger of God is behind it.
He later made a donation of N10 Million to the ministry of Prophet Iginla, while noting that He is only tapping from the anointing of enlargement
No doubt, it was a record breaking event as it also featured the launch of 30 books by Prophet Joshua Iginla.
