God Forbid -Joshua Selman Says, Shares A Vision God Showed Him Will Happen If The Church Don’t Rise

Sahara Weekly Reports That The Founder and General Overseer of the Eternity Network International and Convener of the Koinonia Global Program, Apostle Joshua Selman spoke on the message, ‘Redefining The Church’ during the Koinonia UK Conference 2023 (Day 2). While delivering his sermon, he disclosed God’s vision about the church.

God Forbid - Joshua Selman Says, Shares A Vision God Showed Him

He started by highlighting 2 significant reasons why the church of the 21st Century is different from what the church used to be. He listed the following: Lack of character & inconsistency, and the absence of intelligent life-applicable teachings that offer real-life solutions to human problems.

On the vision, he said, “As long as our sermons do not bring real scriptural solutions to human problems, the church will offer less to human problems. Never downplay the desperation of humans to seek solutions. God forbid that the vision I saw will come to pass. As days were coming, the demand for human solutions kept on increasing. It got to the point where the church was abandoned because we couldn’t provide real solutions. God forbid! The church needs to wake up”.

Sahara Reporters Lied! Pastor O.C. Benjamin Denies Ever Meeting Apostle Suleman In Viral Video

Pastor O.C Benjamin of the Fulfillers House Church Assemble has described as “lie from the pit of hell” a story published by an online publication, Sahara Reporters, that he was used to stage a miracle by the Omega Fire Ministry’s General Overseer, Apostle Johnson Suleman, to “raise the dead”.

Sahara Reporters Lied! Pastor O.C. Benjamin Denies Ever Meeting Apostle Suleman In Viral Video

In a video that has gone viral online, Apostle Benjamin punctured Sahara Reporters’ story declaring that he has never met Apostle Johnson Suleman in person, let alone being used by him to stage a miracle.

According to Apostle O.C. Benjamin in the viral video;

“God bless you, ladies and gentlemen. Apostle Ozi Benjamin is his name. Lately, my attention was drawn to a news item that has been flying on the internet that I, Apostle Ozi Benjamin said that Prophet (Prof.) Apostle Johnson Suleman gave me a substance with which I injected a dead person, and the dead person came back to life. I want the general public to please neglect such news.

I have never met with Apostle Johnson Suleman; Apostle Johnson Suleman does not even know me in person. I only watch him online preaching from a distance. This is propaganda from the pit of hell. Usually, anytime there are criticisms or propaganda against my person on the internet, I don’t respond. I am responding to this latest one because they’re trying to drag me into collision with Apostle Johnson Suleman.

This does not have anything to do with Apostle Johnson Suleman. I want everyone to disregard this news. I wonder what kind of lie this is.

I had never handled a syringe before, let alone injected someone. I want the general public to please neglect such news. It is a pure lie, balderdash. And all those spreading such a news, one day God’s judgement is going to rest upon you.”

Sahara Weekly Reports That Timothy Omotoso, a Nigerian pastor and leader of the Jesus Dominion International (JDI) church, was arrested in April 2017 on multiple charges, including racketeering, trafficking in persons, rape, and sexual assault. His arrest led to a protracted legal battle that spanned nearly eight years, marked by numerous delays and legal maneuvers. As of April 2, 2025, the Gqeberha High Court is scheduled to deliver judgment in his case.

Background and Arrest

Omotoso’s JDI church had major branches in South Africa, Nigeria, and Israel, with its headquarters in Durban, South Africa. He was often referred to as “the man of God” by his followers. The allegations against him and his co-accused, Lusanda Sulani and Zikiswa Sitho, involved recruiting congregants, employees, or individuals under the pretext of offering spiritual benefits or improving their quality of life. These individuals were allegedly transported to various locations, including Durban, Israel, or Nigeria, where they were subjected to strict control and, in some cases, sexual exploitation.

Legal Proceedings and Delays

The trial faced numerous delays since the arrest in April 2017. Omotoso made multiple applications for a mistrial, citing prosecutorial misconduct and other issues. In October 2023, the Gqeberha High Court dismissed an application for discharge brought by Omotoso and his co-accused. However, the court acquitted them of almost half of the charges, reducing the number from 63 to 32. The remaining charges included several counts of rape and sexual assault.

The delays in the trial led to some witnesses withdrawing from the case, indicating they had moved on with their lives and were not interested in reliving their experiences in court. This contributed to the reduction of charges. Despite these challenges, the prosecution remained committed to finalizing the case and serving justice for the victims.

Current Status

As of April 2, 2025, the Gqeberha High Court is set to deliver judgment in the case against Omotoso and his co-accused. The outcome will determine their legal standing and potential sentencing. Omotoso has been denied bail throughout the trial, while Sulani and Sitho have been out on bail.

Conclusion

The case of Timothy Omotoso has been a complex and lengthy legal battle, highlighting challenges in the judicial process, especially concerning cases involving multiple jurisdictions and sensitive allegations. The scheduled judgment on April 2, 2025, is a significant milestone in this protracted case, potentially bringing closure to the involved parties.

This community is dedicated to spreading the Gospel across different states through powerful worship sessions, praise, healing, miracles, and more. More than just a movement, it is a family of Christ’s soldiers, committed to kingdom expansion.

Recently, they visited a well-known landmark in Ogun State—the bustling Sango Under Bridge. Indeed, Jesus was seen, and His power moved mightily. Miracles took place, healings manifested, and many encountered the divine touch of Jesus.

With communities established in over 20 states and three countries, their commitment, passion, and readiness to spread the fire of Christ remain unwavering. Their mission is clear—to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

The community welcomes new members, partners, and supporters to help make this vision a global reality. As the Bible states in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

The Gospel will reach everyone, but personal decisions matter. One cannot live in unbelief and expect to access heaven. Becoming a believer is essential, and the Jesus Must Be Seen Community plays a vital role in bringing the message of salvation to the lost and unjust. Many are learning to align with God’s principles and will through their work.
