The endorsement was effected at a fully attended consultative meeting of the party held at Iwo.
Reading out the list of pledged votes local government by local government, the representative of PDP leaders at Ayiwola area, Hon Lukman Mudashiru said the apex committee of the campaign at Iwoland is also working to deliver over 90 percent of adhoc delegates to be elected later this week.

Responding to the endorsement, the leader of Adeleke Apex forum, Prof Wale Oladipo expressed heartfelt appreciation to Iwoland for the endorsement, describing it as “a challenge to other federal constituencies.
“We are overwhelmed by this massive show of support. You have challenged other councils. Ayiwola is a critical stakeholder in the incoming imole government”, he said.
Defend Your Votes
Oladipo who appreciated the good people of Iwo for their open enthusiasm towards IMOLE PROJECT, challenged them to up their ante of support in the forthcoming governorship election.
He specifically called on voters to defend their votes against habitual election riggers, adding “ensure you vote massively and don’t allow election riggers any breathing space.
“Ademola is Highly Qualified”
Oladipo told the delegates and leaders that Ademola Adeleke is highly qualified in all respects to be the governor of Osun state, adding that the former Senator has the educational, political and economic capacities to contest and win the state for PDP.
Saying no reasonable organization would contemplate changing a potent striker, Oladipo urged delegates from across the state to support the Ede born businessman turned politician, noting that “the state needs Senator Adeleke now than ever before.”
“Ede and Iwo Are Allies” -Ademola Adeleke
Addressing the delegates, Senator Adeleke said Iwo and Ede are of the same blood through decades of migration and inter-marriage, declaring “I am here to thank you for the repeated support we have enjoyed from Iwo land.
“I started my political career in Iwoland. I can never forget that. Also Iwo not only massively voted for me during the senatorial race. When attempts were made to rig the outcome, Iwo people rose to physically defend my victory.
“Now you have also endorsed me for the governorship. This rare show of support confirm that while I am from Ede, Iwo is my political home.
“I promise Ayiwola people that Osogbo-Iwo Ibadan road will be a priority. The Ikire -Iwo road will receive attention. The township road will witness rapid changes. I will grant Iwo the honour she deserves as a senatorial headquarters of Osun West, Senator Adeleke “, Adeleke said.
