Christmas: Apostle Suleman Prays for Nigeria, Security Agents

Servant of God and spiritual leader of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has offered prayers for Nigerians during this yuletide season as they celebrate the Christmas tomorrow.

The famous cleric prayed for a peaceful and safe celebration throughout the whole nation and also enjoined security agencies to be vigilant around religious centers and other recreation facilities where people gather in their large numbers.

While commending the renewed onslaught of the security architecture especially the army in their fight against terrorists and bandits, Apostle Suleman also called for prayers for these men in uniform and sought support from the federal government for them.

He admonished worshippers to be mindful of their engagements in this period and to be extraordinarily cautious of whatever they are doing so as not to fall prey of the evil machinations of deceitful and manipulative individuals who will want to hide under the series of activities lined up for the celebration of the season to cause havoc.

Apostle Suleman reminded the public to live their lives in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ who has offered himself as a sacrificial lamb to wash away the sins of mankind.

Meet Dennis Ekamah: The ‘Producer Extraordinary’ Shaking Up Nollywood with Authentic African⁴ Stories”*

Clement Emmanuel

In an era where creative specialization is often the standard, Nigerian filmmaker Dennis Ekamah continues to distinguish himself as a multifaceted force in African cinema. Widely known as “Producer Extraordinary,” Ekamah is a filmmaker, producer, cinematographer, video editor, and digital marketing expert whose versatility is reshaping storytelling across Nollywood and the global creative industry.

Ekamah is the Chief Executive Officer of MediaAfrica Films, a production company dedicated to crafting authentic African narratives through motion pictures. A second-time founder with over seven years of industry experience, he has worked extensively across pre-production, production, and post-production, giving him rare, end-to-end mastery of the filmmaking process.

Professionally, Ekamah’s early work gained continental recognition with a film showcased on Africa Magic, titled So Claused and Consequence. He went on to co-produce, direct, and edit Lost in Place, before expanding his footprint internationally with productions shot in Nigeria and Dubai. In 2019, he worked on Farewell Vacation alongside acclaimed actors Latifat Adedimeji and Belinda Effah.

Another standout project, Abu, filmed partly at Seashells and in Nigeria, achieved international distribution on Amazon UK, marking a significant milestone in his career. Ekamah is currently developing four new film projects, including a high-budget production he describes as a groundbreaking African story “that has never been told before.”

Beyond film, Ekamah has collaborated with major local and global brands such as Google, 9Mobile (formerly Etisalat), Indomie, Nestlé, Maggi, Gino, Malta Guinness, and Triller, helping them translate brand narratives into compelling visual content. He is also a Google Certified Enabler and YouTube Channel Brand Manager, supporting creators and businesses in scaling their digital presence.

Known for his hands-on approach, Ekamah credits his storytelling strength to deep technical understanding. “Storytelling is not just about ideas—it’s about how those ideas are executed technically,” he notes. His ability to combine creative vision with cost-effective production has allowed him to deliver high-quality projects while managing budgets efficiently.

Recently, Ekamah reached another milestone with the premiere of “Indomie Fan Club,” a TV show produced in collaboration with Indomie. The project, which he also edited, is set to begin airing in January, further cementing his reputation as a producer who delivers excellence across every production stage.

His contributions have earned him multiple awards and recognitions, including:

•Google Enabler by Google

•Google Certified Award for Channel Branding – YouTube

•The Entrepreneurship Awards – New Media Brand of the Year

•Raysignature Award- Media Personality of the year.

•Wafric Awards- Organization Making Diffrence in Africa.

Reflecting on his journey, Ekamah emphasizes resilience, patience, and sacrifice as the cornerstones of his success. Looking ahead, he envisions himself producing globally accepted African stories that transcend borders and redefine how the world experiences African cinema.

As the African film industry continues to evolve, Dennis Ekamah stands as a powerful example of how versatility, vision, and purpose-driven storytelling can shape the future of cinema on the continent and beyond.

Mrs Township SA Finalist 2026, Nkone Maringa Brings Hope and Joy to Young Patients at Garankuwa Hospital

GARANKUWA, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2025 — Smiles, laughter and renewed hope filled the children’s ward of George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Garankuwa as Mrs Township South Africa Finalist 2026 and newly honoured Mrs Township South Africa Finalist 2026, Mrs Nkone Maringa, led a heart-warming humanitarian outreach that touched the lives of about 100 hospitalized (Paediatric and Oncology Wards ) young patients
The visit transformed what is often a space of anxiety and pain into an atmosphere of celebration, compassion and emotional healing. Accompanied by her team and volunteers, Mrs Maringa arrived bearing gifts that went far beyond material support — offering comfort, encouragement and human connection to children and families enduring difficult medical journeys.
During the outreach, fresh fruits, Crocs in various sizes, and over 100 specially prepared cakes were distributed, ensuring that every child in the ward received a personal gift. The children, many of whom have spent weeks or months in hospital, responded with visible excitement and joy, while parents and caregivers watched on with deep emotion.
In a unique and deeply compassionate extension of the outreach, Mrs Maringa, through her wellness brand Embrac’n Touch Wellness and Spa, also offered head and neck massages to mothers who remain at the hospital caring for their sick children. The therapeutic gesture was aimed at easing the physical and emotional stress faced by mothers who often spend sleepless days and nights at their children’s bedside.
Many of the mothers described the experience as refreshing and emotionally uplifting, noting that it was the first time someone had intentionally focused on their own well-being while they cared for their children.
The atmosphere became even more moving as Mrs Maringa personally interacted with the young patients — holding hands, offering words of encouragement, taking photographs, and listening attentively to their stories. Nurses and hospital staff expressed gratitude for the visit, noting that such initiatives significantly boost morale and emotional resilience among patients and caregivers alike.
Speaking during the outreach, Mrs Maringa emphasized that her actions were driven by purpose rather than recognition.
“This is not just about a pageant title,” she said. “It’s about compassion, service and using the platform God has given me to uplift others. These children are fighters, and today was about reminding them that they are loved, valued and not forgotten.”
She added that the festive season can be particularly painful for families with hospitalized children, making the outreach especially meaningful.
Hospital officials commended the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful. One staff member noted that the children continued talking excitedly about the visit long after it ended, with many proudly refusing to remove their new shoes.
The outreach forms part of Mrs Maringa’s broader community service vision as a Mrs Township South Africa Finalist 2026, where advocacy for vulnerable groups — particularly children and caregivers — remains central to her mission.
As the team departed, cheers, smiles and heartfelt gratitude echoed through the hospital corridors — a powerful reminder that kindness, when given selflessly, can heal hearts even where medicine alone cannot.
With this gesture, Nkone Maringa has once again demonstrated that true leadership is not defined by crowns worn, but by lives touched.
