Weeks after death of baby, Seyi Law and Wife groove again
Celebrated comedian and delectable wife, Stacy Ebere have put the tragedy that hit their family behind as the couple stepped out to catch fun.
Seyi Law celebrated Mother’s Day weekend with his wife as the couple enjoyed a serene and fun beach getaway on Sunday, May 10, 2015. The comedian shared the photos from the outing while describing his wife as ‘valuable yet, priceless’
It would be recalled that the Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law and his wife, Stacy Ebere recorded this year’s valentine as a black with the misfortune of losing their first child shortly after its birth in a hospital in Maryland, USA.
His wife had been in the United States since December 2014 for the delivery of the child but sadly lost the baby at birth. The comedian had already christened the baby Cossy before her sudden death.
Dejected, Seyi shared the sad news on his Instagram page: “My heart is blank, My joy has disappeared, Anger has become my companion. The wait is over with a bitter end. Oh Lord! Why does it have to be me? I am so imperfect and never denied it.
“The pain of nine months has amounted to nothing. We believe so much in you. How do I console her when I can’t find strength myself? I thought my feet will dance this season. I have enlarged my tent in waiting, but my wait has been hit with sadness.
I don’t want to murmur or complain, but my emotions are hurt. Help me to stand Lord, so, I can always be thankful. I want to be stronger in praises this period. I want to hold her hands to comfort her. Help us to pass this season while standing. Rest well, Cossy”.
Seyi Law and his wife got married on March 27, 2011 at Banilux Event Centre, Sabo Yaba, Lagos and had been waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb this while.

There’s a hot gossip in town involving an alleged secret romance between star Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere and UK based popular talkshow host, Oluyinka Ayanda a.k.a. Yinka TNT.
According to insiders, friends of Obesere are worried about the potential consequences of the alleged secret affair for his marriage; the associated scandal, heartbreak and the impact on his reputation as his wife was already in the know and reportedly spoiling for a showdown.
Sources said the clandestine nature of the saga makes it difficult to know how long their affair has been going on and how often the lovebirds meet or interact.
Speaking on the rumour, an ally of Yinka who didn’t want to be named for confidential reasons, said “it is not impossible”, adding that though it wasn’t a public topic yet.
“A single lady romancing a married man is part of socializing, especially if both of them have always known and supportive of each other,” the source quipped.
Yinka is a single, career woman with kids while Obesere is married. Thus, a close relationship between such high-profile celebrities who interestingly are also showbiz aficionados, is bound to attract intense media attention and public speculation.
Calls made to both Yinka and Obesere to confirm the authenticity of this information went unanswered while text messages sent to their known mobile telephone numbers were not replied as at press time.
