The Federal Ministry of Health has appointed health technology expert Doyin Bademosi as a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for Nigeria’s National Cancer Control Plan (NCCP), signaling a renewed push toward digital innovation in the country’s fight against cancer.

Bademosi, who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Durotimi AI, will serve as Chairman of the Cancer Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Health Subcommittee. In this role, he is expected to provide strategic advisory support on advancing cancer surveillance systems, improving early detection protocols, and integrating artificial intelligence into Nigeria’s oncology framework.
