A Year Old Olakusibe Fabregas Wins As EnnyAde Concept Celebrates Anniversary
Children residing in Sagamu and its environment on Sunday trooped to Tenth Planet Suits in commemoration of EnnyAde Concept maiden anniversary. Since its inception in 2022, the not-for-profit organisation has positively impacted the lives of people.
Speaking at the well-attended anniversary celebration, which was held at the Tenth Planet Suits, Sagamu, Ogun State, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer, Ayaba Enitan Adenuga, reiterated the organization’s total commitment to contributing to the growth and development of residents in Ogun state.
According to her, celebrating the concept’s milestone achievement in over 365 days, the foundation has provided support to no fewer than 1000 residents which includes connecting the aged to medical care, alleviating child poverty and helping artisans fulfill their dreams. The Foundation has also offered continued support to those in the business cycle, as well as children and youths willingly to get engaged in handwork.
In her statement, “According to Steve Goodier, money is not the only commodity that is fun to give. We can give time, we can give our expertise, we can give our love, or simply give a smile. What does that cost? The point is, none of us can ever run out of something worthwhile to give. It’s on this ideology that I began the idea of establishing EnnyAde Concept.
“I am grateful to my family, friends, the team, as well as sponsors for being there to support me in this cause. My dream is to do more, go from place to place and continue to remain in the lips of people for something special.
Following weeks of intensive voting of EnnyAde Concept kiddies ambassador contest, Adeoye Olakusibe Fabregas, a year-old kid emerged the overall winner, gathering a total of 1256 votes, while the first runner-up Abdul Ademide Annabel gathered 1160 and the second runner-up Adekoya Rebecca polled 914 votes.
The competition, which commenced in March 2022, featured over 40 kids between the ages of 0 and 10.
Commenting on the successful completion of the voting competition, participants attested to the free and fair manner at which the contest was organised.
Sharing the excitement of Mrs Adeoye, the mother of Olakusibe, after emerging as the winner of the maiden edition of the competition, expressed her gratitude to everyone who has helped her son in accomplishing the feat.
“I feel grateful to everyone who voted my son and gave him an opportunity to go home with all these prices. My son and I are confident that we could not have done this all by ourselves without your support,” she said.
Olakusibe Fabregas was awarded 100,000 naira cash prizes, a frame, and other consolation prices, while the first runner-up received 70,000 naira and a frame. The second runner-up also received 50,000 naira and a frame.
The event got more rossy during the raffle draw program, which gave many kids the opportunity to go home with school baskets, cups, water bottles, textbooks, and many more.
