Barr. Olumide Akindiya Congratulates Nollywood Actress, Maureen Okpoko on Her Award- SRTV, an international organization, UK/USA organised a mind-blowing ceremony that attracted numerous celebrities and personalities to Festival Hotel, formerly Golden Tulip at Amuwo Odofin, Festac in Lagos State on the 6th of December, 2020 to honour celebrities who emerged winners in their various categories at this year SRTV Legendary Award.
One of the them is Nigerian Nollywood Actress, Maureen Okpoko. The talented Actress emerged winner as the Best Breakthrough Senior Actress of the Year out of 15 actresses.
In appreciating the Nollywood Actress, Maureen Okpoko, Barr. Olumide Akindiya felicitates with the multiple award winning actress on her recent award. He eulogised her in words and through poem.
He puts it thus:
‘I feel elated to felicitate with you on your success as you emerged winner of Best Breakthrough Senior Actress of the Year at the recent SRTV Legendary Award 2020. It is your time, keep enjoying your web of success in your acting career for years. Keep it up ma.’
The Barrister also puffed out his poetic quality in composing poem to congratulate the Nollywood Actress and titled it ‘If I overlook’. The title of the poem did not in anyway give a clue on the type of poem that portrayed such wishes except you read it.
The poem praises the Nollywood Actress’ artistic qualities in various roles she acted for years. He further portrayed the physique and character of the actress in a way he understood her and their relationship.

There’s a hot gossip in town involving an alleged secret romance between star Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere and UK based popular talkshow host, Oluyinka Ayanda a.k.a. Yinka TNT.
According to insiders, friends of Obesere are worried about the potential consequences of the alleged secret affair for his marriage; the associated scandal, heartbreak and the impact on his reputation as his wife was already in the know and reportedly spoiling for a showdown.
Sources said the clandestine nature of the saga makes it difficult to know how long their affair has been going on and how often the lovebirds meet or interact.
Speaking on the rumour, an ally of Yinka who didn’t want to be named for confidential reasons, said “it is not impossible”, adding that though it wasn’t a public topic yet.
“A single lady romancing a married man is part of socializing, especially if both of them have always known and supportive of each other,” the source quipped.
Yinka is a single, career woman with kids while Obesere is married. Thus, a close relationship between such high-profile celebrities who interestingly are also showbiz aficionados, is bound to attract intense media attention and public speculation.
Calls made to both Yinka and Obesere to confirm the authenticity of this information went unanswered while text messages sent to their known mobile telephone numbers were not replied as at press time.
