Bishop (Dr.) Tom Samson Revels On Life At 50

The founder and General Overseer of Christ Royal Family Int’l Church, Bishop (Dr.) Tom Samson is all set to hit the golden age in a couple of weeks. In a well attended press conference on Thursday 8th October, 2015, the revered man of God revealed activities leading to his 50th birthday celebration that comes up on Saturday 12th December, 2015 inside his 100 hectare Royal City in Otta, Ogun State.
The Bishop who was born into the family of Pa Enweliku Samson, a mason from Delta State and Madam Eunice Enweliku Samson about fifty years ago in the ancient town of Ile Ife, revealed how he did not allow his poverty-stricken background affect his destiny, reiterating how his father died because the family could not afford N2000 for medication.
It was indeed an emotion-laden tale of an amazing grass to grace life experience that is worth inspiring anyone down today that he can be up tomorrow.
Violent Tom as he was known back in school days went through school without text books or handouts, but managed to see life through the then Bendel State University where he bagged a degree in Biology Education.
Bishop Tom Samson gave his life to Christ in 1985 and in 1986 when he joined the campus youth for Christ, a Christian fellowship in Ekpoma, while in his 100 level.
But as fate would have it, he moved to Abraka campus of the same University and started Christ Royal Family campus fellowship. At Abraka he was known as Violent Tom because of his zeal, energy and aggression in soul wining especially the way he involved the hide outs of cult groups and some hinterlands in the Niger Delta region.
After graduation, contrary to his desire of becoming a business man, God told him to preach the good news and that he should move to Lagos. He obeyed and Christ Royal Family campus fellowship transform to Christ Royal Family Church with the mandate to set the captives free and teach them to reign over life’s circumstance.
He is the general overseer of Christ Royal Family International Churches (an 100 acres city) with international headquarters Royal City, Ota and branches in Lagos (Egbeda, Ikeja, Festac, Ojokoro, Ikorodu) Abuja, Port Harcourt, London (U.K) Manchester, Dublin Ireland and Atlanta (USA)
He is the visitor /founder Royal City College of Education, Ota he is the proprietor of Royal City Colleges, Ota/Ikeja /Egbeda. Royal Dynasty International School Ota/Ikeja /Egbeda. He is the CEO of Royal City Medical Center Ota Royal City water factory, Royal City printing press Ota. Presently his brain child project Monarch University is undergoing approval process.

He has been a good ambassador of the country every where he has preached globally United State of America Europe South Africa United kingdom and west Africa and his efforts are appreciated with awards.
In obedience he stormed Lagos about 23 years ago to establish his ministry as instructed by God without a forwarding address or money to start up his ministry, he passed through difficult life preaching the word of God and setting-free the oppressed but today he operate an international ministry, has chains of schools, hospitals, etc without over 200 staff under his employment.
In all of the difficult times, Bishop Tom was not alone; he had a confidant, a friend, a soul-mate partner in ministry – his amiable and adoring wife, Apostle Lanre Samson, whom he described as his jewel, a good preacher and an astute administrator. Coincidentally, both of them will be celebrating 50 on the same day.
At 50 God has been so good to His servant, with a thriving ministry, good family, a role model in the society, a father in faith, indeed Bishop Tom Samson has seen it all.
For his obedience over the years and sacrifices to the Kingdom of God, he is today blessed with things of life including his eye-popping 40 feet Hummer Limousine that he cruises around town in.
He is the founder of Tom Samson foundation a foundation that caters for the less privileged. He is the founder /president of charismatic and power fellowship of seasoned ministers comprising of over five hundred pastors and general overseers of churches.
The chairman of the organizing committee for the birthday, Deacon Iyke Kanu highlighting activities lined up for the occasion said, “Because it’s the 50th birthday of our great bishop, we have put in place several committees to work effectively to make the day a glorious one, the plan is to have a carnival-like birthday party that will continue to reverberate even so many years after because we will be using the occasion to reveal the body of Christ, to let the world know what Christ can do, using the celebrant as a case study.
“Bishop Tom Samson came to Lagos as nobody but held onto Christ but today the world is celebrating him. His life has been one amazing inspirational tale that will definitely give hope and we are leaving no stone unturned in making it a good avenue to touch lives and showcase God’s wonder.

The Senatorial Aspirant for Ogun Central under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emmanuel Adebola Sofela, has extended warm felicitations to workers across the district in celebration of the 2026 International Workers’ Day.

In a goodwill message released to mark the global event, Sofela praised the resilience, diligence, and unwavering commitment of workers in Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, Odeda, Obafemi-Owode, Ifo, and Ewekoro Local Government Areas, noting that their contributions remain central to the growth and development of Ogun Central and Nigeria at large.

Chief Abdul Tunji Mohammed (ATM) Picks APC Senate Nomination Form for Ondo North

Chief Abdul Tunji Mohammed (ATM), the Balogun of Ikare Land, has officially picked the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the Ondo North Senatorial District ahead of the party’s primary election.

Chief ATM obtained the forms at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, signaling his formal entry into the 2027 senatorial race. He was accompanied by party leaders, youth groups, and supporters from across the six local government areas of Ondo North.

Speaking shortly after picking the forms, Chief ATM said the move was in response to “persistent calls from traditional rulers, elders, women, and youths of Ondo North who desire effective and people-centered representation.”

“My aspiration is not about me. It is about restoring the voice of Ondo North, attracting federal presence, and creating jobs for our youth,” ATM stated. “With the support of our leaders and the grace of God, we are ready for the primary and the general election.”

Party faithful who thronged the secretariat described ATM as “the most prepared and acceptable aspirant,” citing his recent endorsements by former Deputy Governor Ali Olanusi, first-class traditional rulers, and the Ondo North Youth Alliance (ONYA).

Chief ATM reaffirmed his commitment to party unity and a clean, issue-based campaign. He called on delegates to prioritize competence and track record during the primaries.

The APC is expected to announce dates for screening and primary elections in the coming weeks.

Olukare of Ikare, Oba Akadri Momoh, and Council Endorse Balogun ATM for Senate 2027

His Royal Majesty, Oba Akadri Momoh, The Olukare of Ikare Land, alongside his Oba-in-Council of chiefs and elders, has endorsed Chief Abdul Tunji Mohammed (ATM), the Balogun of Ikare, for the Ondo North Senatorial seat in 2027.

The endorsement was announced on Monday at the Olukare’s Palace during Chief ATM’s courtesy visit. Oba Akadri Momoh described ATM as “a true son of Ikare” with the character and competence to represent Ondo North. “He respects tradition and has never turned his back on our people. He has our royal blessing,” the Olukare said.

Chiefs present echoed the monarch, citing ATM’s consistent support for education, healthcare, and empowerment in Akoko land as proof of his readiness.

Chief ATM thanked the Olukare and Council for the “sacred mandate,” pledging to make the welfare of Ikare and Ondo North his priority in the Senate. “In Abuja, the voice of Ikare will be loud, clear, and respected,” he said.
