I Will Continue To Advocate For Rights of Those Wronged In N200 Billion OmegaPro Scam -Banwo

Renowned lawyer, Dr. Ope Banwo has said that he will continue to fight for the rights of those wronged in an alleged N200 Billion scam by OmegaPro Forex and Investment Trading Company.

He stated this in a statement in response to a ‘Cease and Desist letter’ from the lawyers of OmegaPro Diamonds in Nigeria.

In the self-signed statement titled “OMEGAPRO SCAM – Corruption Fights Back As Onoja and Omegapro Diamonds Sue Attorney General and the Lawyers Representing Victims Of The Fraud”, the Coordinating Attorney for OmegaPro Action Nigeria (OPANI), said Daniel Onoja and other OmegaPro Diamonds have not only profited from the misfortunes of others but are now attempting to use the legal system to shield themselves from accountability.

Calling the bluff of Onoja and OmegaPro Diamonds, Banwo challenged them to proceed with their threatened legal actions, adding that the truth is a powerful defense, and he is prepared to present the facts in any court of law.

“I reiterate my demand that they refund the proceeds from the commissions they unjustly earned from the hard-earned money of their victims,” Banwo said

He assured members of OPANI
of his steadfastness in the pursuit of justice in the alleged scam, saying that the letter by the Nigerian enablers of the Omegapro scam is nothing short of an attempt to muzzle the truth and obstruct the course of justice.

“I remain steadfast in my pursuit of justice and will continue to advocate for the rights of those wronged by this scam. Let us all remain vigilant and committed to ensuring that those responsible are held to account for their actions.

“Let me be unequivocally clear: their threats will not silence me. I stand by my statements and my unwavering commitment to the over 250,000 Nigerian victims who lost more than N200 billion to this nefarious scheme. The actions of these enablers, including Daniel Onoja and the Omegapro Diamonds, are not just morally reprehensible but legally questionable.”

Condemning the deplorable tactic commonly observed globally, where scammers sue victims and law enforcement agencies preemptively as a strategic maneuver to escape justice, he said; “We recognize this for what it is – a desperate attempt by the guilty to delay the inevitable reckoning that awaits them. To the public, I appeal to you not to be swayed by these tactics. This is not just an attack on a few individuals but an assault on the very principles of justice and accountability. We must stand united in our demand for the return of the stolen funds and ensure that the law takes its due course.

“The strategy of suing victims and law enforcement agents in advance is a well-known exit strategy of scammers, aimed at derailing justice. We see through this facade and remain committed to our cause. Let this be a message to all involved in the Omegapro scam: your actions will not go unchecked, and justice will prevail,” he concluded.

“MFM’s Olukoya: ‘Men Who Deflower Women Enter Spiritual Bondage Without Knowing’

"MFM’s Olukoya: ‘Men Who Deflower Women Enter Spiritual Bondage Without Knowing’

MFM’s Dr. Olukoya Warns Against Premarital Sex, Citing Spiritual Consequences

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has sparked discussions after emphasizing the spiritual consequences of premarital sex, particularly for men who deflower women.

In a recent sermon, Dr. Olukoya stated that when a man takes a woman’s virginity, a spiritual covenant is formed between them. According to him, this connection can lead to serious repercussions, including bondage and generational consequences if not broken.

He further warned that such relationships could transfer demonic influences, affecting future partners and causing unseen spiritual turmoil.

“If you’re a man and you have disvirgined somebody or more than one lady, don’t be surprised if your life is upside down,” he cautioned. “Because when you disvirgin a woman, you wet your male organ with the blood from that woman. So you have formed a covenant with that woman. To now say you did not marry the person is a serious problem you have caused for yourself. It will go from generation to generation unless you break it.”

Dr. Olukoya also stressed the dangers of unknowingly engaging with spiritually afflicted individuals, stating that if the woman is under demonic influence, the man also inherits those spiritual ties. “When you move over to another woman, the extra luggage you collected from that demonic girl, you transfer it to another girl that has no demon, that one too will collect,” he explained.

His statement has generated widespread reactions, with some supporting his stance as a warning against casual relationships, while others argue that the message may instill fear rather than promote responsible choices.

Dr. Olukoya, known for his strong teachings on purity and spiritual warfare, has consistently preached against premarital sex, describing it as a doorway to spiritual problems. His latest remarks have once again reinforced his long-standing position, urging individuals to take their spiritual lives seriously.

Tope Alabi’s Revelation on Early Career Sparks Online Debate

Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi has ignited controversy online after opening up about her early days in the music industry, revealing the real reason she refrained from wearing earrings, jewelry, and wigs at the beginning of her career.

In a now-viral video, Alabi disclosed that her decision was not driven by divine instruction but rather by financial constraints. She clarified that God never instructed her to avoid wearing jewelry or wigs, debunking long-held assumptions about her modest appearance being a spiritual choice.

According to her, she simply could not afford quality earrings, chains, wigs, or other accessories when she started her career. However, many people misinterpreted her look as a religious stance rather than a financial reality.

The gospel singer further explained that her choice of attire is often dictated by the nature of her performances.

“God has never told me not to wear earrings, chains, or wigs. I’m a theater practitioner to the core, so I understand what fits each song. If a song does not require me to wear earrings, I won’t use them in the video. In the past, people assumed I avoided earrings for religious reasons, but the truth is, I simply could not afford them at the time,” she stated.

Alabi’s statement has since triggered heated discussions online, especially among fans who recall instances when she seemingly sang against wearing jewelry and wigs.
