NNPP Founder advises Party Members to Remain Calm, counsels Kwankwaso’s Camp to respect Court Ruling
.

By Ifeoma Ikem

Dr. Aniebonam Boniface, founder and life member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP),held world press conference at the NAGAFF Headquarters Apapa, Lagos.

Aniebonam explained the recent developments following an Abia State High Court ruling that handed control of the party to its BOT. This ruling has shifted the party’s leadership from Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s faction to the BOT, stirring tension within the NNPP.

According to him, I’m disappointment with the misinformation from Senator Kwankwaso’s associates, including Barrister Ladipo Johnson, who has publicly challenged the court’s decision.

Speaking he described Johnson’s statements in the media have cast aspersions on the judiciary and misled the public regarding the party’s leadership.

Dr. Aniebonam clarified that Kwankwaso, Johnson, and other key members of the Kwankwasiyya faction were expelled from the NNPP after the 2023 election, making them ineligible to represent the party. He attributed recent court cases filed by Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima, including a now-withdrawn lawsuit in Kano State, to attempts at challenging legitimate NNPP members without basis.

He also accused Kwankwaso’s advisors of being driven by self-interest rather than dedication to public service. He emphasized that Kwankwaso’s advisors were using their roles for personal gain rather than offering sound legal and political guidance.

Addressing legal aspects of the court ruling, Dr. Aniebonam stated that the recent Abia State High Court judgment is binding unless challenged in an appellate court. He urged Kwankwaso’s camp to respect the ruling rather than questioning the integrity of the judiciary. He also indicated the BOT’s intent to seek further legal action if any defiance persists, stressing that undermining the court’s decision amounts to contempt.

Aniebonam appealed to NNPP members to remain calm and law-abiding as the party’s BOT assumes control. He also called upon elected representatives within the NNPP to support the BOT’s leadership, assuring them that they represent the party’s future.

The BOT is set to convene on November 8 to outline steps in alignment with the court’s ruling. Aniebonam concluded by urging Senator Kwankwaso and his allies to respect the rule of law and allow the party to proceed under its rightful leadership.

US ELECTION: Donald Trump Wins As Predicted By Apostle Omotosho

Donald Trump won Pennsylvania early Wednesday, putting him just four electoral votes shy of defeating Kamala Harris to win the White House.

How Primate Ayodele Foretold The Victory, Loss, And Aftermath Of Donald Trump’s Administration

A win in Alaska or any of the outstanding battleground states — Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona or Nevada — would send the Republican former president back to the Oval Office.

Interestingly, the presidential election is a fulfilment of the prophetic release of Apostle Omotosho Tope Joseph. On August 10th, 2024, he released a prophecy that Donald Trump would win the election and he sees congratulations on his path. And as predicted, the election results trickling in is in favour of a landslide victory for Donal Trump.

Pennsylvania, a part of the once-reliable Democratic stronghold known as the “blue wall” with Michigan and Wisconsin, was carried by Trump when he first won the White House in 2016 and then flipped back to Democrats in 2020. Trump also flipped Georgia, which had voted for Democrats four years ago, and retained the closely contested state of North Carolina.

Trump’s gains sharply curtailed Harris’ path to victory.

The crowd at Harris’ watch party at her alma mater, Howard University in Washington, began to file out after midnight after a top Harris ally sent supporters home, with no plans for the Democratic vice president to speak.
