Project NWAFOR Igbo: “Invest In Your Homeland” – Rowland Okorie Tells Igbo People

PROJECT NWAFOR – Equity Concepts Entertainment boss, Rowland Okorie has reiterated on the need for Igbo people to invest in their home lands. This is a swift response to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s advice to indigenes of the state living in other States that their land is ready for business and that investing in their home state will be in their own best interest.

Rowland Okorie, a Dallas, United States of America (USA) based showbiz guru also called for open arms amongst the Igbo indigenes both home and abroad on its new concept called Project NWAFOR Igbo, adding that it is a timely solution for a mass business exodus for the Igbos.

Rowland, who spoke through the Global Leader on Strategy, Uche Onuigbo, buttressed on the fact that most developed and upward thriving states in Nigeria especially Lagos have a high percentage of Igbos who focus on Commerce as a means of livelihood and have contributed positively by upgrading the aesthetics of the land through property acquisition and development.

Onuigbo lamented that the same individuals are still not given the full rights to peacefully vote candidates of their political choice or be assimilated fully into such society.

He said diplomatic tolerance does not cover for transparent inclusive governance as the true colour of such a host show at every slight twist and turn, quoting Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State; “Your host will never respect you if you don’t have a livable and prosperous.” homeland.”

Onuigbo called on the governors from the Southeast to embrace transformative innovations that will make for smooth transition for the people. He maintained that Project NWAFOR Igbo is on and will be launched in the USA this year.

Uche Onuigbo said; “Project NWANFO Igbo is the only initiative that can live up to Governor Soludo’s quest and correct the need to change Anambra State from a departure lounge to a destination. The homeland consciousness must be inculcated in the perceptual mind of every Onye-Anambra and Ndigbo at large.”

Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of Coscharis Group, Mr. Cosmos Maduka also urged Igbo people to come back home and develop their homeland. He added that Project NWAFO Igbo will galvanize and network smooth transmission of commerce to ‘Ala Igbo’ by being the intermediary between the government and the people.

Onuigbo equally stressed the need for the government to provide lands, security and power for the project.

He said; “Project NWAFOR Igbo is positioned to bring in investors, create Mega industrial hubs across Igbo land and transform the landscape with modern aesthetics that can be seen in industrialized nations. It will also assist those in the diaspora to contribute their own quota and bring their businesses home.”

“This will resonate with the Igbo spirit of enterprise and can be achieved via collaborations, partnerships and investments from foreign brands and companies that wish to extend their businesses to Igbo land,” Onuigbo concluded.

“To ensure that this price reduction gets to the end consumer, we have signed a partnership with MRS to sell petrol from its retail outlets nationwide at N935 per litre” he added. This price has already commenced in Lagos, and it will be offered nationwide from Monday.

In his statement, he called on other oil marketers such as the NNPC Retail and all other marketers, “to work with us to ensure that Nigerians enjoy high-quality petrol at discounted prices.”
