A delegation of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) has visited the Lagos State House of Assembly and held a meeting with the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.

The meeting which held behind closed doors on Thursday afforded a fruitful discussion concerning the proposed Lagos Electrification Agency Law which recently scaled second reading during plenary.

The GAC delegation at the meeting included Cardinal James Odumbaku, Sen. Anthony Adefuye, Otunba Henry Ajomale, Dr. Yomi Finnih, and Otunba Femi Pedro.

On Tuesday June 25, Dr. Obasa committed the bill to the Committee on Energy and Mineral Resources with a two-week mandate for the latter to report back to the House.

This was after lawmakers at the day’s sitting debated the pros and cons of the bill which targets to repeal the Lagos Electric Power Reform Law, 2018 to provide for the creation and administration of the Lagos Electricity Market.

The bill further seeks to establish a commercial and technical regulatory framework for the electricity market with the purpose of ensuring reliable and universal access to electricity for all residents of the State.

Also, the bill seeks to establish the Lagos State Electrification Fund for the delivery of reliable electricity supply to the underserved areas of the State.

Speaking about the bill, the chairman of the Committee on Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Sobur Oluwa, had said it was “very essential as it gives room for Lagos State to regulate its power supply and transmit electricity at its own pace.”

‘’Your Time Is Up’’- How Primate Ayodele Warned UK PM, Rishi Sunak Six Months Ago (VIDEO)

Sahara Weekly Reports That The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak is expected to tender his resignation anytime soon following the devastating loss of his party, the conservatives, at the just concluded parliamentary elections.

The Labour party has literally won the UK general election and is heading for a landslide, with results from more than 500 of the 650 parliamentary seats declared.

Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak conceded defeat to the opposition Labour Party as voters in the UK general election delivered a devastating verdict on 14 years of Conservative rule.

This result is no doubt a representation of the prophecy of Nigerian prophet, Primate Ayodele which he gave in February warning Rishi Sunak and his party against some of their policies that will affect their chances at the general election.

In the prophecy which was captured in a video, Primate Ayodele emphatically said that Rishi Sunak’s time was up and that his party will not get enough seats to remain in power after the UK general election. He made it known that they will be disappointed basically because of the policies of the Prime Minister.

These were his words:

‘’Rishi’s time is up because his party will not make any headway. In the coming election, his party will face disappointment and will not get enough seats. Rishi’s policies will affect his party’s chances in the election, they will not have any headway in the coming election.’’

It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele was the only prophet that foretold the emergence of Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister in the UK. His election was dramatic because he initially lost the election but within a few months, he was elected again after the initial winner resigned.
