Following a recent media interaction with Amb. Jonathan Daniel, founder of the United Nation Endorsed Non- Governmental organization, Arise O Nigeria, who mentioned that members of the *Arise Cross River #Wayforward2019* which is one of the State cluster of the NGO has declared their intentions to support Prince Godswill Edward who is presently the Special adviser to Cross river state Governor on youth affairs, a credible young man filled with great energy, high sense of humour and has over the years displayed a deep humanitarian passion for Youths & the entire people of Abi/Yakkur LGA, in crossriver state.
He stated that the *way forward*for better life is a platform of reputable Nigerian Youths within and in diaspora who seek a new political order, a new Nigeria, rendering a voice for the voiceless, a group with the mandate to empower vulnerable Nigerian Youths, Women, Children, and make them gainfully empowered towards ensuring an improved standard of living in line with achieving a sustainable grassroot development in 2019 & beyond.
Been concerned that the antics of some failed political & entrenched leaders will lead Nigeria into a state of indescribable human misery characterized by death, hunger, disease, illiteracy and manipulation, Arise O Nigeria decided to create a support group, a platform to mobilise citizens of goodwill and conscience towards installing a credible leader capable of bringing about the desired opportunities for all. He also mentioned that “It is very pertinent that we utilise this opportunity to build a common front towards socio economic and sustainable development of *Crossriver State* through this group.
We are in partnership with credible civil societies filled with technocrats & youths, giving them the opportunity to showcase their leadership abilities in their various communities while galvanizing maximum support for credible & God fearing personalities into power towards achieving a better sustainable economic development cum 2019. We will be working on a multilevel governance approach to deal with sustainable development challenges as this Support group provides elites and technocrats the opportunity to share their latest insights & strategies of achieving sustainable grassroot development.
