2023: Seylek Oil Chairman, Michael Odufejo Declares For Ogun Assembly Seat, Hails Gov Abiodun’s Transformation Agenda

 

 

 

 

 

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Chairman of Seylek Petrochemical Nigeria Ltd, Oluomo Oluseye Michael Odufejo, has declared interest to run for the Ijebu East state assembly seat in Ogun State.

 

 

 

 

Oluomo, an indigene of Ikija and staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has put himself forward to represent the people of Ijebu East local government at the state assembly.

The youthful politician, who promised to provide qualitative representation and bring dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people of Ijebu East, disclosed that his wealth of experience in grassroots politics, closeness to the downtrodden and exposure have placed him ahead of other aspirants in the race.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oluomo Odufejo spoke during his official declaration for the state assembly seat at a well-attended event in Ikija ward on Sunday, March 13, 2023. The event attracted political leaders, market men and women, youth wings and various interest groups in the local government area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The frontline assembly hopeful, who commended the impressive performances of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, urged other aspirants jostling for the position not to see the race as a do-or-die one but an avenue to better the lot of the people irrespective of political leanings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun’s remarkable feat in Ogun State is overwhelming. His Excellency has touched virtually all the sectors in the state, most importantly road construction and rehabilitation, provision of qualitative health care facilities, housing for all and education, while the security network has also improved reasonably. It there must be our collective drive that our governor remains in power beyond 2023,” Oluomo stated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The state Assembly aspirant, sources acknowledged knows where the shoe pinches his people and will definitely proffer more solutions to such challenges if elected in 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He was said to have spent over three decades in the area and has been a major financial backbone of grassroots politicians aspiring for different political positions in the past.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oluomo Odufejo is the Olu-Omo of Owu-Ijebu, the Olu-Omo of Egbe Bobamayegun Okunrin Akile Ijebu, among other prestigious titles.
