Anambra couples who starved their 5years old daughter over witchcraft prophecy arrested.

Sahara Weekly Reports That a middle aged man with his wife Mr/Mrs Wosu Blessing arrested by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare,Anambra State Mrs Ify Obinabo for starving their 5years old alleged that Pastor gave them prophecy that she is a witch .
Addressing Pressmen,in her office ,Akwa the state capital, Obinabo said she intervened in the case following a reports from the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha LGA, Mr Gerald Ozoh and the state coordinator of Ladies of Good Governance, Mrs Chinwe Uba.
The incident happened at Adazi-Ani, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state were the couple reside .
She said; I got the information through the coordinators of a non governmental organisation Ladies of Good Governance,(LGG) ,that a couple starved their 5-Year-old daughter over Pastor’s prophecy that she was responsible for her Dad’s business clash.
Obinabo points that one of her primary assignment was to protect the rights of every child in the state and assures that she would not let the accused go free.
“The girl is currently receiving treatments at the hospital while her parents would be handed over to the police for further investigation,she added.
Mrs Blessing Wosu,the victims mother admited to the crime,saying I only obeyed my pastor’s prophecy,he told me that my five-year-old daughter is a witch when we visited for prayers to know why things were so difficult for us, my husband’s business started going down so the pastor gave the prophecy that she doesn’t deserve to live.
“It is our pastor who gave us a prophecy that she is a witch and does not deserve to live. We were told that she is responsible for her father’s downfall in business.”
Speaking further i made my daughter sleep on a plank due to her constant pooing and peeing on her body.
