The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi, has sent his words of commendation to Omooba Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola, a chieftain of the ruling party from Ward 1, Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State.

In a letter dated March 7 and signed by Amb Samuel Jimba, the Senior Special Assistant to the National Chairman, Ayoola was lauded for what the party described as his invaluable contributions and commitment which aided the victory of the party during the February 25 presidential poll.

In the letter which was addressed to Chairman of APC in Ogun State as well as the Chairman of the party in Odogbolu LG, Akogun Muyiwa Idowu, Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi said that the national leadership of the ruling party is quite aware of all the efforts of the international trade expert to continually strengthen the party and make it the party to beat in the state.

While thanking Ayoola for joining forces with other progressives to make the party victorious during the last presidential election, Abdullahi urged the politician to remain committed to mobilising for the success of the party saying that such painstaking efforts would never go unrewarded.

Reacting to this development, Ayoola described the letter of commendation from the National Chairman of the ruling party as a great morale booster saying that “I was only doing my best to make my party more formidable and winner in all the elections, I never knew anybody was watching and I won’t stop doing all that is within my capacity to ensure that Gov Dapo Abiodun record landslide victory in March 18 governorship elections”.

While congratulating all the members elect for National Assembly in Ogun State, Ayoola urged them to use their tenure to attract meaningful development to the state saying that it is by so doing that they could write their names in gold and leave behind worthwhile legacies.
