Sahara Weekly Reports That Oba Babatunde Ajayi Over Plan to install Chief Olatunji Solaja as Olu or Oba of Soowo, Reminds Him Of Court Litigation process on course.

The Atobatele Royal family of Makun Sagamu has responded to the recent news that HRM Oba Babatunde Ajayi, The Akarigbo of Remoland is planning to install one Chief Olatunji Solaja as Olu or Oba of Soowo against the court litigation.

Prince Olusegun and Baale Nojeem Atobatele are standing in for Osoribiya Atobatele Royal Family and they both confirmed the litigation stopping the process of installation of Olu or Oba of Soowo at the moment except court order.

According to the reminder letter by the client of Osoribiya Atobatele Royal Family

We are the Solicitors retained Osoribiya Atobatele Royal Family (hereinafter called “our clients) regarding the above captioned matter.

We have been consulted and on our services retained to REFER and WARN against the anticipated installation of Chief Olatunji Solaja as the Olu or Oba of Soomo against the rightful and substantive Baale – Nojeem Sotinwa Atobatele

It is our brief to recall and state categorically that the erstwhile Baale of Soomo – Chief Olatunji Solaja had his appointment terminated by the Ewusi-in-Council on the 17 February, 2016 in his place, Chief Nojeem Adekunle Sotinwa Atobatele was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Baale Soomo by the PRESCRIBED AUTHORITY -HRM CBÀ T. À. AKINSANYA- EWUSI MAKUN.

It is our further brief to state that in-spite of the above, Chief Olatunji Solaja kept on parading himself as Baale Soomo in defiance to the pronouncement and position of the Prescribed Authority -Ewusi Makun; conduct of which generated acrimony and tension within Soomo Community.

Our Clients as law abiding and peace loving indigenes of Soomo Community instituted Suit No: HCS/683/2022 (Copies of Writ of Summons and Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction marked as Annexures “” and “B and both dated 29# December, 2022 attached) With Maximum respect Kabiyesi, it is our resolve that parties maintain status quo as any attempt to install Chief Olatunji Solaja as Olu or Oba of Soomo is a gross violation of Court Proceedings with its next date as 4th of October, 2023.

KABIYESI, let us take cognizance of the law and be PROPERLY ADVISED.
