Christmas celebration : Christ is the season for the celebration —– Methodist Prelate

The Prelate of Methodist Church, His Eminence, Dr Oliver Aba Ali, has said that Christmas is the season for spiritual reflection for everyone to be able to fully understand why Jesus Christ came into the world.

 

 

 

 

 

The Prelate said that Jesus Christ came to the world to depopulate the hell and populate his kingdom.

 

 

 

 

 

He added that Jesus came to the world to reconcile himself with the people, adding that Jesus Christ came to the world to bears the pains and sorrow of the world.

Quoting John 14 Vs 3b, Ali said ” Jesus said, I will receive you into myself, that where I am, there you may be also”.

The Prelate Methodist Church gave this message on Christmas day celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ at Methodist Church, Marina, Lagos.

He charged the world to follow Jesus Christ as the peace of the world.

According to him, the leaders on their various levels of office to see themselves as the sacrificial lamb. Remove self out of their lives, the nation will be at peace.

” Many of us have raised ourselves higher than expected, that is why corruption will never end in our society,”.

He lamented that it is sad that an individual in Nigeria stealing about N10 billion to N15 billion to do what?.

” Are they going to create another world in another place ?. So , this are problems, untill we remove self and follow the way of the Lord, Jesus said come into me all you who are heavy laded, I will give you rest” he stressed.

He stated that Nigeria is bleeding, untill Nigerians come to embrace Jesus, the country’s problem will be lighten.

” We should honour him. Every leader should look for Jesus. The Lord Jesus is the prince of peace. He came to give us peace” he noted.
He charged Nigerian politicians to emulate the good example set by Jesus Christ as the prince of peace.
