Covid 19 Wahala: Employee Stabbed Colleauge to Death over Facemask Contract in Lagos

An employer, Afeez Ayodele, who stabbed his colleauge to death, is cooling down in Lagos State Police Command cell with useful information on the deceased who has been identified as Obiora.
The incident happened over the week at United Estate, in the Sangotedo area of Ajah were both of them worked as colleauge in a fashion home.
Sahara weekly gathered that the fashion home where suspect and deceased work, was awarded a contract to make face masks to supplied to residents to stop the spread of the coronavirus epidemic in the state.
It was learnt that the suspect and deceased have a mere agrument over whose turn to use a particular sewing machine,but did not go down well with both of them and engaged in a fight.
The suspect was upset because the deceased refused him not to make use of the machine and bought out knife and stab him on his chest ,the deceased fell down was bleeding,immediately rushed to the hospital where gave up the ghost.
One of their neighbours who did not want his name on print said that they always pick quarrels all the time before today incident, ” I believed their Oga would have resolved the matter amicably….look what has happened losing a life it is terrible.
Another eye witness,who only give his name as Uncle Segun said when the suspect screamed for help that his colleague was bleeding i was surprise i did not know they were fighting ,see what little mistake has caused.
