Dismissed soldier steals two mobile phones

Twenty- nine year old soldier dismissed from the army was  arrested for allegedly stealing  2 mobile phones worth N86, 000 and in possession of dangerous weapons in a hotel at Lagos.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu,who paraded the suspect said he was arrested following a complaint received at Ijanikin Police Station. He said the police had received a complaint from Express View Hotel, Ketu, Ijanikin that a lodger identified as Shedrack Christopher who claimed to be a soldier stole two Infinix Hot 4 handset valued at N86, 000 from the bar and hotel room.
Items recovered from the suspect included one axe, cutlass, knife, Nigerian Army Warrant Card, Honda Accord car and Army Uniform.The suspect confessed he deserted from the Nigerian Army in 2017 at Maiduguri and also participated in killings at Igando Lagos and Edo State in 2017 .
According to CP, when the suspect was searched, the following Items were recovered from him which include one axe, one cutlass, knife, Nigerian Army Warrant Card, Honda Accord car and Army Uniform.He will be charge to court immediately after the investigation.
