Sadly, the imbroglio ensuing in Kano for months between Governor Ganduje  and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi reached a crescendo today as the state government announced the dethronement of the embattled Royal Father.


In a message made available to us, the state government unanimously approved his dethronement with immediate effect and promised to announced a replacement soon: 


The Kano State Executive Council has unanimously approved the dethronement of the Emir of Kano Mallam Muhammad Sanusi II at a special sitting held today by the council.
