Every Man Needs A Helper, You Can’t Be Great in Isolation -Apostle Suleman

Every Man Needs A Helper, You Can’t Be Great in Isolation -Apostle Suleman

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us” (Acts 16:8 New King James Version).

Famous televangelist, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said that everyone needs help in one area or the other. According to him, ignorance, pride and foolishness can make a man think or say he doesn’t need help. “His life will stay stagnant because of nonchalance to the fact that he needs a helping hand,” suggests the servant of God at the 2022 edition of the ‘Joy in The Holy Ghost’ three-day revival that ends today, 15th of October.

While delivering the teachings that witnessed instant testimonies of restoration during the 8th anniversary of the Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Apostle Suleman averred that the biggest problems confronting a man is to think he can be great in isolation. “So long Naman was connected to his master, he was great. Every great man should be traced to a source, without which his life becomes questionable and he becomes unreliable,” opines the senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide.

“Do not be ashamed or too proud to ask for help,” Apostle Suleman’s teaching suggests, adding that “some people pretend they don’t need help and when they don’t get help, they become bitter.” This, he says, will further keep God’s help far away from them. “Don’t pretend you don’t need help. Everyone needs help,” he stated.

However, the ‘Restoration Apostle’ warns that no man should harass a fellow man for help. He said; “Take your need to God in prayer first, but don’t harass anyone. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in asking for help from fellow humans. The problem we have is that we promote our disabilities more than our abilities. We must not promote our pain above our gain. Some people announce a headache like cancer, a problem shared is not always a problem solved, it is a problem advertised.”

Apostle Johnson Suleman’s closing message at the revival was the hope that it ushers in a ray of hope for the people of Rivers State and, by extension, Nigeria. “The Lord has set out the three days (of the revival) to visit His people, shower rain of blessing upon them, take over everything that pertains to them and strengthen their hope. He assures that the programme would not only bring spiritual, physical and financial transformation to the people, but it will in addition restore their faith in God and discourage them from subscribing to the deceit of the devil and his human agents.
